This office is the worst. I was forced to pay $1300 for my deductible prior to surgery and due to their unprofessionalism and canceling my surgery the day before I was supposed to have it, I decided I would hold off on it and canceled surgery altogether. Well, its been 3mon of me calling and emailing and my insurance calling to get my deductible back and this office keeps giving excuses and has not paid me my money back. They keep lying for the doctor and telling me she's with a patient and will get back to me, but no one ever does. She even closed her office and moved to another location and I was never notified about it. If you have money to relocate then you have money to reimburse me my deductible. I am now seeking legal action because im tired of playing this game with this unprofessional doctor and her staff. This is why people hesitate to support black businesses. People like this ruin it for others. DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR. You will regret it

I see that you all took time to respond to my message above, which I must say is the most communication I've gotten from this office in 3mon and yet your still lying. Now suddenly there was a check mailed before you all relocated? Well if that's the case, why was that information never given to me as much as I and my insurance been calling? Make it make sense. I called just yesterday when I learned that you all secretly relocated from Locust grove to McDonough, and when I asked about my refund again, not once did anyone say a check was mailed nor was I sent any check details or proof of mailing and I still have not received a check. This is the BS I'm talking about. Just lies on top of lies. You all blame Southern Regional for canceling me the day b4 surgery but you all continue to contract with them no matter how many of your patients have had bad experiences with them, which gives a negative reflection on you all. It can't always be them and not you.
Lastly, yes my relationship with the Dr was good prior to all of this, but there were unprofessional things I experienced prior to this, I just didn't stress it because I liked the doctor and told myself the issues weren't that serious, which is why I am so confused as to why I am dealing with this. All this office had to do was refund my deductible. There's no reason I should be chasing you all down for 3mon for money you know you can't keep. This is stressful and unnecessary and in your entire response, not once did you explain why you all are taking so long to give me back my money and why there's been no communication with me about it. It took a bad review to get you all to respond and you still responded with lies. Just send me my money.

She was amazing throughout my entire pregnancy, she was kind, through and listened to all of my concerns (and i had a lot). Unfortunately she only delivers at Southern Regional (and I was made aware of this while I was pregnant). However when my water broke and I went to the hospital it was so dirty i left against medical advice and delivered at henry piedmont. In doing so I am no longer able to receive postpartum care from her (she also informed me this would happen) which I feel is unfair because I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism during this pregnancy and have been unable to get my prescription since my delivery and have to wait 6 weeks to see a new doctor. I would recommend her as a obgyn but just be mindful of the hospital you'd have to deliver at. 💔

I found Dr. Johnson on Google as I was seeking a new GYN. My 1st visit was so welcoming. She handled my level of care immediately. She performed a procedure that I had been wanting to have done for years. Not only is she a great person but one of the very!!!!! best female doctors that I have had since living in Georgia. Also convenient. I have never had an issue with the staff. Everyone is knowledgeable and courteous.

I have been going here for almost 3 years now and I love the employees most definitely Dr.Johnson she doesn't rush the appointment she takes her time, she really my personal therapist when I come cause whew I just pour my everything on her I love her. When I was pregnant with my daughter day or night she was there to answer all my questions I had my first c-section she made she I was comfortable during and after.

This is the word experience I have ever had at a medical facility . I AM A HEALTHCARE PROVIDER and this office is definitely needing education on insurance laws and the young lady in the front office can use come customer service skills. My daughter had an appointment there today and the young woman asked for my copay that she said was $150. When I questioned it I was told that it is because they are a “specialty provider and that she was not coming in for a pap, but for a problem”. Now keep in mind that she said this OUT LOUD with others in the waiting room. Nonetheless, I told her that no, my deductible has been met and she said no, put her hand out and said $150. I left out with my daughter, called my insurance company and was told that no matter why we are there the copay is $35. So I went back in for her to speak with the insurance company and she then CHANGED THE AMOUNT TO $125. Argued with the insurance company about my deductible not being made and the woman gave her the DATE it was fulfilled and she said “she has to pay $125”. The insurance company told her that they could not do that and she says “well that’s how the Dr. here chooses to bill her clients”. Well no thank you ma’am. I have choices too and I choose not to allow anyone to extort money from me. I hate that this seems to be the narrative in my community and while I keep trying to support I have to continue to advocate for myself and my family. I have to to say that I did not see the Dr and have never seen Dr. Johnson. I was referred to her by my closest friend who had nothing but great things to say about her. While I do not know if this young woman is truly a representation of Dr. Johnson and her billing practices, I do know that we are only as good as our team.

Dr Lori has been my OBGYN since I lived in Georgia. She’s very easy to talk to and explains the process clearly.

Her staff has always been pleasant.

The staff is extremely unprofessional. They are not properly trained to assist with customers and these ladies should not be in a position to deal with upset or frustrated patients. If you express dissatisfaction, they hang up on you. They put you on long holds then hang up without calling you back. The attitudes they have are as if they are doing you a favor. I wouldn’t recommend anyone go to this place.
