I was a loyal patient of Dr. Masada for several years. Even after I moved over an hour and an half away, I continued coming to his practice. I ran into major traffic one day on my way to a physical and ran 2 minutes later than their grace period. I was informed that I would have to have a very quick appointment so the doctor could stay on schedule.

Dr. Masada saw me very quickly and I was out of the exam room in 7 minutes for an entire physical. I stuck around to have a blood test done by a nurse while the Doctor went to see his next patient, and their office is claiming I delayed the Dr. for multiple appointments, even though I was out of his exam room within my allotted time. When asked, his office told me he was reviewing the blood test results during that extra time, but at that point the blood was just drawn and hadn’t even been sent out to the lab.

Not only was he able to see me in the allotted time, but they charged for my exam and charged me a “no-show” fee on top of that. When I tried to request waiving the no-show fee, they flat out refused to do anything about it, even though I was a loyal patient and they were able to get me through on time.

While the $25 no show fee is not much and I have no problem paying it, it’s the lack of understanding on their end that I am quite surprised about. My wife has a private practice and she tries to be understanding and accommodative with her patients. I found their approach so black and white, and it makes it tough to feel like they care.

Dr. Masada is an excellent doctor that has helped me in so many ways. I just hope they review their approach to these types of situations and can come up with a better system to show patients that they care.

Am healthy and attempted to make an appointment as a new patient for an annual physical and was refused. Spent >5 min. on hold with a reception that bordered on rude. Appears if you're already sick Dr. Masada is your man. If your interest is maintaining good health, look elsewhere.

First time visiting his office, his front desk attendant was friendly and helpful. They saw me at my appointment time and were prompt and thorough. Dr. Masada addressed all my concerns and was willing to listen and find out the causes of my issues. I am very happy I found him.

And of course, the key person Dr. Marvin is probably the best family doctor I have ever seen in my entire life. He is so patient listening to my concerns and taking time explaining my health problems.
The entire office is very efficient. Strongly recommend!
