This year I needed two hip replacements due to arthritis and my joints were bone on bone. When I hand my consultation with Dr. Grosso he was very pleasant and great at explaining what would be involved with the surgery. I had my left hip done first and my second hip was done 6 weeks later. I did my daily exercises and walks and within a week of each surgery I was able to walk 2 miles without any assisted devices. Having these surgeries was such a game changer for my quality of life. I could barely walk before the surgeries and now I'm walking around great, no pain in the hips. Dr. Grosso did a great job and I'm so thankful for all he's done for me.

I had a knee replacement on 7/29 . Dr Grosso took time to answer my questions and helped address my concerns. The office staff and support medical staff are all wonderful. I had some complications due to the way my body handles inflammation and Dr Grosso was very helpful and knowledgeable in helping to
address them. I have recommended him to several people recently

Dr. Grosso performed a total replacement of my left knee at the Lighthouse Surgery Center in Hartford. My recovery after 7 weeks has been remarkable. I’m easily hiking 2 miles and rapidly regaining my strength and flexibility. The incision is neat and healing well. From the CAT scan used to select the prosthetic to the surgery itself, everything went smoothly. I highly recommend Dr. Grosso.

Knee replacement surgery went great and the results have also been very good! Thought I would need the other knee done this next year, however, so far it is surprisingly pretty good. I would certainly have Dr. Grosso do it if it is needed!

Dr Grosso is my orthopedic surgeon and performed a full left hip replacement in June of 2024. An excellent surgeon focused on utilizing the highest quality surgical procedures to make your hip replacement a success and long lasting, i.e. the last hip you will ever need. Utilizing digital technology via CAT imaging paired with computer driven surgical equipment, your old hip will be removed in extreme sterile environment, in as little time as necessary, and with a very high degree of surgical precision, so that the replacement surgical titanium ball and socket are fitted and joined to your prepped femur and hip to an accuracy common in aerospace specifications. Surgical Precision is key to Doctor Grosso's orthopedic practice allowing for consistent repetition of the hip replacement procedures and thus reducing the time is takes to perform the procedure, and reduce the amount of time his patients are under anesthesia, one of the riskiest parts of any surgery. The facility is very hi-tech. The computer aided orthopedic surgical technology used, Makoplasty, is proven and the best out there. I highly recommend Dr Grosso. He may look young but he has done over hundreds of orthopedic procedures like mine. Please take my advice, if your referred to Dr. Grosso, go with him. You will not be disappointed. Note. Hip replacements hurt, but this is my 2nd hip replacement, and I know from experience that walking around in crippling degenerative hip pain sucks, and I can guarantee you that 3 months after your hip replacement surgery you will be pain free, walking without or mostly without a cane and very very happy with the result and the improvement in your quality of life. Take care - TC/Hartford CT.
