Dr. Mai and his staff were very courteous. Dr Mai was quickly able to determine the source of not only my hip pain but also chronic back pain that I hadn't been able to get resolved for over several years and he was able to pinpoint it within a matter of a few minutes. I am really looking forward to working with him in the future and getting everything resolved. Overall I was very pleased with my experience.

Dr Mai has excellent knowledge of his field and great bedside manners. He gives you detailed information of your condition and options for treatment. I'm glad he will do my revision/correction surgery of my hip replacement that another doc did. I'm looking forward to being pain free again !!!!
Update. Revision surgery was done 5 month ago. I feel 99% better, no more shooting pain while I continue to heal for another 7 month. Postop went well and just last week I got an update request from Dr Mai. Love the fact that he checks to see how the surgery works out. Only if you do long term review do you know if your approach is working.

I would recommend Dr Mai to anyone. He did an amazing job on my hip replacement and abductor tendon repair. Always answered my question. It was a great experience from the day I first seen him to my post op appointment. I see him again in 3 months. Highly recommend him

I highly recommend Dr.Mai and team. I had a total hip replacement with tendon repair. My experience every step of the way has been above par. I still can’t get over the fact that post op pain ( taking medications as directed) has been primarily pain free, at worst, slightly uncomfortable. I feel like I have a new lease on life. I’m so grateful for this skilled practitioner and amazing support staff. Now, if I can just “be a bum” for the next few weeks and NOT overdo it because I feel so great- we so would be good to go!!! Thank you!!

Dr. Mai gave me an initial diagnosis in less than a minute after reviewing my imaging. I had seen 3 orthopedic physicians before him who failed to do that. He uses props and images to clearly communicate his findings so you understand them. He is upbeat and energetic and is great with injections. I hardly felt a thing. There was plenty of information in my post appointment notes. A lot of which we did not discuss during our appointment, so I recommend you take the time to sign-up for the patient portal, so you can be notified when they post and carefully read them after each visit. A majority of the notes appeared to have been cut and pasted from another patient chart since I was referred to as he, yet to my unexpert eye they seemed to apply to my initial diagnosis.

Dr Mai is amazing! If you need a new hip you would be crazy to not have Dr Mai do your surgery. His 5 star team is like a pit crew! Everyone was kind and extremely knowledgeable on every aspect of this hip replacement. Today I am 15 days out from my right hip and Scheduled my left hip for just after the new year, due to my ostionarcrosi in both hips. I would not have anyone else do this surgery. I learned about him when he did my wife's hip 4 years ago. I cannot convey how pleased I am at how much better I already feel.
