My experience with Dr Gillihan and his staff was 100% positive. He performed a joint replacement on one of my big toes. He is super relaxed and professional, and takes a great deal of time with each patient. I had a great outcome, with minimal pain. I would recommend him for any foot-related concerns.

As a travel professional it's important to have the right people looking out for my well-being. Dr. Gillihan is one of those people, and I'm extremely grateful to know him. Dr. Gillihan's perso able and easy going demeanor made it easy to open and trust him. Unbeknownst to me when I was referred to Dr. Gillihan my foot was broken in a most unusual place, the thalus. The Dr. diagnosed what had been missed by two podiatrist, for almost two years, in 5 minutes. He asked about my professional and personal responsibilities and gave me a chance to have input for my success in recovery. The Dr made sure our process would insure my success, no matter how long because surgery was the last option The goal was to avoid surgery, but recover, however long it took. I'm quite pleased to say after 4 months, and no surgery, I'm healed. Thank you Dr. Gillihan for taking the time to listen and give me options for a successful recovery! I appreciate you and will refer any one I can to make sure they receive the best treatment possible!!

I am an almost 78-year-old and I am totally satisfied with the care provided by Patrick Gillihan, DPM. I have seen him for both nail care and ankle problems. I find him to be very caring, concerned and professional in treating his patients. I would recommend him to anyone, no matter what age for foot and/or ankle problems. I feel I have been very lucky to find him.

I went to Dr Gillihan as the result of repeated ulcerations of the big toe on my
right foot. He prescribed a course of action
which included surgery to replace the joint
on that toe. I was somewhat skeptical, but we followed his course of action including
working around the fact that I am diabetic.
Well, I am here to say, for the first time in three years I have no bandage on my toe because there is no ulcer!
Dr. Gillihan is professional yet personable and caring and has made an amazing difference in my life going forward, and I highly recommend him based on the positive experience I had!!

I have only positive thoughts about Dr Gillihan. He spent the last year with me and the arterial ulcer on my ankle. After 2 rounds of amniotic skin grafts, the wound is healed shut and continuing to heal. I had this ulcer for 3 years. He has changed my life.

I went to see Dr. Gillihan as a second opinion and he was amazing. I had been told by my previous podiatrist several times that I would need surgery and was in a significant amount of pain. Dr. Gillihan spent a long time doing a thorough assessment and looking through the imaging. His conclusion was that I did not need surgery and after two targeted injections I am pain free. It's hard to believe that I couple of months ago every step hurt and I was thinking of having surgery. Now I am enjoying my summer. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Gillihan, he's amazing!
