A horrible experience from a dentist who claims "Great New Smile."

Roberta Garceau claims that she is a certified Yoga instructor. She goes as far as to put videos on-line of her acting out Yoga postures. Believe me when I say she has no understanding of the teachings of Yoga for it alone exist on the premises of truthfulness, honesty and integrity of all relationships that the practitioner encounters in life. She wobbles aimlessly in her moments of deep thought. I witnessed this. Such videos are only there for her to drum up business and for no other reasons. She attempts to make the 'questionable shopper' to see her differently. Well, different she is as far as I am concerned. Different and deceptive regarding the result of my dental work. She deceived me and tried to get away with it instead of taking responsibility and doing the right thing. No wonder she has difficult mornings and days where she has no interest looking in another patients mouth. To get through such a day she has to think of 'snow.' Check it out for yourself. She actually claims this as she tries to give her off-beat advice (that doesn't even assist her) to others with her on-line videos. Karma is smashing her right back. She'll never see it though for she is such a snob who feels that she is superior to everyone else.

She promised me twice with the following: "if it is not right we will make it right." Well, she failed to follow through. Instead she dismissed me after blasting me in front of staff two different times while I was in the dental chair. I witnessed a woman express contempt of anger and rage toward me because I spoke my mind of what I thought with respect to the poor quality dental work. If she is capable of having a mental break like this toward a patient in the dental chair while in front of public and staff then what is she capable of after hours?

I paid her my hard earned money that I saved for a service. I explained to her exactly what I wanted. I realized after a while that she never really listened to what concerned me. She went about it her own way.

Roberta knew that I had little leverage to file a complaint toward her being that I traveled over 1,000 miles (each way) by car to get to her office for each visit. I had six visits with her to address a complete dental overhaul that entailed fourteen crowns in all. My traveling equated to over 12,000 miles of driving for the six visits. I thought that she would be by best dentist ever. Yes, I have met my share of dental quacks in life and I have to add her to the list. She is unethical and deceitful. She knew that what came back (as the final phase) from the lab (next door) concerning my case was not correct. Yet, she went forward with it anyway. When the lab technician came to her dental office during the same visit that Roberta installed two upper front triads (each a bridge #'s 6 through 11) he asked her if she could remove them. He (as a lab technician) knew they were not right. She knew that they were not right also. Yet, she cemented them into position anyway and said: "I cannot remove them unless I break them off."

This is the kind of a dentist that is working at 62 Bloomfield Ave in Windsor CT while portraying to be someone else while deceiving the public. Is this not called trickery or am I just the unlucky patient here to be treated unfairly?

Let me make clear that if this dental work pertained to someone who was near to Roberta (as in a family member or even someone in the neighborhood there is no question that she would have gone far out of her way to make certain that every phase was done correctly - even if she had to rely on a dentist in the building to bail her out and do the work that she is not capable of doing.

I had to pound on Roberta day after day, week after week and month after month with letters and calls that she refused to answer to have returned to me 1/8 of what she was paid.

She wonders why she has confused mornings and troubled days. Well, when you treat others unfairly, the universe responds adversely.

Shame on her!

Mr. Vogel

My daughter started seeing Dr. Gange at age 8 and just got her braces off yesterday at age 13. In all of this time, Dr. Gange has been the most dedicated, thoughtful, competent and professional orthodontist. I cannot believe what he was able to accomplish for my daughter, who he originally worried would need to have her jaw surgically broken to correct her significant issues. She left with a perfect smile yesterday. He is so so good at what he does, and so kind in the way that he does it. There is a reason almost everyone I know spanning several generations has gone to him. The entire office staff is amazing, and we have never had a bad experience. He was so patient and compassionate with my daughter, and I have observed that he treats all of his patients of every age with utmost respect and care. I am so thankful. My son will be up next for his braces and I know he will be in the best hands.

I have been with Dr. Gange since the beginning of my tooth journey and he has never done me or my sister wrong. He always takes the extra time to talk with you and takes the extra time to make sure there are no errors. Anytime I have any question regarding anything with my teeth he is my first call. I find myself never questioning his advice or his methods because his results are always flawless. He is also always very understanding about life situations that cause complications and is always looking to provide the least expensive, but productive route that he can for you and I am so thankful that I have him as my orthodontist!
