Dr. Hacker is hands down the best Orthopedic Surgeon in San Diego! I have been his patient for a couple of years now, first was a scope of my knee and recently a knee replacement. He made me so comfortable for both procedures! I knew I had nothing to worry about! I am so lucky to have been referred to him through my primary Doctor! Very impressed. I am 75 years old and went in for a consultation about possible surgery on my knee and was expecting the worst and skeptical. Dr. Hacker was very nice and knowledgeable and what I had feared was I was just meeting another doctor that wanted to do a surgery but was very pleasantly surprised was he said I don't think you need it let's just try some physical therapy. He said he thought I was better off than I believed. I thought the same. I now have 100% trust of this doctor.

Dr. Scott Hacker born and raised in San Diego has been my oprthopedist for the past 20 years. It continues to be extremely important to me both physically and mentally actvive. To continue to pursue and believe in what is still possible for me. To be functional, independent, go to the gym everyday, ride my road bicycle and not be limited. Dr. Hacker scoped/cleaned out my left knee and did the visco supplentation/lubrecant injections wqhich gave me an additional 10 years of activity prior to performing a left knee replacement 5 years ago that has been perfect and retrurned me to full activity. He also has scoped and done the supplementation to my right knee which has continued to give me many extra years of full activity. More recently past 2 years I have a non-operative labral tear and degenerative arthritis in my right hip but also do the supplementation injections each 6 months past 2 years and continue to be fully functional.

I am extremely grateful to Dr. Hacker, mediacl assistants (Ken, Greg, Elizabeth) and all the office staff. Dr. Hacker is skillful as a surgeon and a diagnostic clinician. His exceptional ability to carfully listen to me, his attention to detail, sense of urgency, genuine caring nature, understand my active life style and assist me with custom care medical treatment options designed to give me the best and active life that I can have.

No matter where you are in your life. If you have orthopedic concerns. I would strongly encourge you to seek his advice, receive an accurate diagnosis and custom treatment options specific to you and your personal needs. To often people just settle, not willing to put in the rehab time or effort, think a cortisone injection is the 1st or only option and are unaware of numerious other options prior to surgery if ultimately needed.
You always have choices in you life. Dr. Hacker has been and will continue to be a wise choice for me as he will for you.
