LOOK NO FURTHER FOR A HEMORRHOID DOCTOR, THIS IS THE DOCTOR TO SEE. Thank God we found Dr. Scott Woody. He is a remarkable doctor!!! He’s knowledgeable, personable, listens, explains all options available, and definitely cares about his patients concerns and comfort. Dr. Woody is incredible, you will be as thankful as we are that we found him. Two visits has made a day and night difference for my husband. Thank you Dr. Woody!!!  And yes, your staff is great too.
Before we found Dr. Woody….. My husband was in the Emergency Room twice within a week with severe bleeding of external hemorrhoids. The ER referred us to a colon & rectal surgeon; this surgeon was knowledgeable…. BUT what a horrible experience; the appointment was a nightmare.  He was heartless and callous about the pain my husband was in. The rectal exam was pure torture; he used something similar to the Kelly Proctoscope (blunt end, 50mm). He RAMMED the proctoscope in, no warning, no “take a deep breath”...nothing… my husband has a very high tolerance for pain, however he was in extreme agony with the pain this doctor was inflicting.  We couldn't leave fast enough. Thank God we found Dr. Woody on the internet. OMG there's no comparison between the two doctors.

Office access in Greenwood V. was easy, parking was great, staff friendly, and Dr. Woody could not have been nicer.
His kind, "matter of fact" manner and gentle technique, made the correction of the problem much less of the big deal than I thought it was going to be. Seeing Dr. Woody, you can be confident in being ready, willing and able to get this taken care of. Do it.

My family has a history of severe hemorrhoids. Dad underwent a very painful surgery and recovery when I was 11. That memory caused me to suffer for the last decade with a worsening condition. Disclaimer: Since I'm posting in a public place, I'm not using my real name, but Dr. Woody and his staff will know who I am from the details I post about my visit.

I visited Dr. Woody's office on 7-15-19 due to ongoing problems with recurrent constipation and rectal bleeding which had not been resolved after a visit with another doctor in the area who didn't even bother to do a rectal exam.

When I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted by a warm, friendly, professional staff that were excellent at putting me at ease and treated me like a human being that meant something to them. Many other medical offices have a staff that has a tendancy to be very cold and callous. Not Doctor Woody or his staff, they are the gold standard for the way things should be when we make the uncomfortable, sometimes scary decision to see a doctor about a medical issue.

Doctor Woody sat down with me for probably a good 15-20 minutes, talking with me about my symptoms, asking questions, making sure he got all the details about the issues I had been experiencing. The rectal exam and anoscopy were...not going to lie...a bit uncomfortable, but much of that had to do with the symptoms I was experiencing. Doctor Woody quickly assessed that this was not a hemorrhoid, but something much more insidious, possible cancer. He referred me to a local colorectal surgeon, named Dr. Santosh Nandi, who's office also provided top-notch care, and confirmed through a colonoscopy that I have rectal cancer. At this point, I still have a very good chance of beating this and surviving.

Doctor Woody has literally saved my life with an efficient, thorough exam and correct diagnosis, along with his referral to the best colorectal surgeon in the Denver area. THANK YOU DOCTOR WOODY AND STAFF!

Free of pain at last. It took about 4 sessions to get two hemorrhoids removed. There is discomfort in some of the sessions during the procedure, but you have zero down time. I was able to get some relief on the first visit. The place is well run and the staff was very professional
