I went to dr ahluwalia because of his extensive experience and although he is out of my network felt it worth it to get a very expert opinion on my shoulder issues. I wasn’t disappointed. All staff was courteous and i felt cared for. X-rays were taken prior to my meeting with him making efficient use of time.
He is also very professional and a gentleman.

I searched google for a doctor I thought had good reviews. Dr Ahluwalia was the one. His reviews were recent not outdated. He had great reviews. Everyone in his organization were professional. I am the type of person that wants to get the job done. Getting in to see him was easy and quick and professional.

A Miracle Worker!!

There is no finer orthopedic surgeon than Sonu Ahluwalia, and no more professional, responsive and helpful office manager than his assistant Maria Boarst. Period.
Need proof?…Four months after Sonu’s “miracle surgery”on me, I hiked pain-free to the top of Diamond Head crater on Oahu! Aloha!!

Seriously, after 4 years of progressively worsening hip/knee/back/ankle pain…to the point where I literally could not walk without leaning on the next piece of furniture, aka “furniture walking”…Sonu performed what was clearly a miracle hip replacement. I literally went from a level 8-10 pain in my hip/knee/back/ankle to zero pain in all of those areas! The man simply saved my life!!

Before I chose Sonu to have a full hip replacement, my wife and I interviewed, researched and I was examined by no fewer than six highly regarded orthopedic surgeons…Sonu and Maria came out a clear #1 and gave me the confidence and trust I needed to take this scary but very necessary step.

The experience I had with Sonu and Maria was far beyond expectations in every possible way. From the unbelievably successful surgery to the way Maria anticipated and addressed my every question and need. Sonu took every precaution, explained everything honestly and very clearly, examined all areas of potential risk and complication, and made me feel like I could not be in better hands. Maria returned every call promptly, even after hours, and personally helped me set up appointments, track down prescriptions while I was out of town and just really cared about my situation like a friend or relative would.

So, if you’ve led an active life and now find yourself literally crippled with pain and you’re as apprehensive and concerned as I was about full hip replacement surgery…
There is simply NO BETTER TEAM than Dr. Sonu Ahluwalia and Maria Boarst…they saved my life and I could not be more grateful. 😊

Dr. Ahluwalia has been amazing! Excellent doctor, very accessible and has been there for me throughout the process. My shoulder surgery was flawless and the recovery has been much better than expected! I would highly recommend him.. His right hand person Maria is amazing as well!

I saw 4 other orthopedic surgeons when I fractured my ankle and none of them even came close to Dr. Ahluwalia. He is the best there is. Every other surgeon wanted to jump to surgery before even doing an MRI and he's the only one that seemed to actually care about me as a person and what was best for my situation. I'm a competitive runner and he took that into consideration when we were figuring out my treatment plan. I wouldn't go to anyone other than him

Dr. Ahluwalia has the true Golden Touch. He and his team have made our experience smooth and flawless. My wife Marilyn being in the hospital with a severe knee issue was certainly a major concern of our family. Dr. Ahluwalia had previously successfully helped with one damaged knee and now the other knee was in worse condition. The bedside manner and care that Dr. Ahluwalia gave is as good as anyone can ever get. We are forever grateful for the results attained with Dr. Ahluwalia and his wonderful team. I first met Dr. Ahluwalia sever years ago when he did emergency on my 87 year old mother who fell and broke her hip. The surgery was a great success. I was very impressed with his care and deep concern for her physical and mental well being. A few years ago, I needed a knee replacement and once again, Dr. Ahluwalia didn't disappoint me. Now, I will soon my other knee replaced and Dr. A will be my surgeon. I would and do recommend him for anyone in need of a fine orthopedic doctor.

My wife and I both have been patients of Dr. Ahluwalia. Surgery isn't taken lightly. Dr. Ahluwalia is not a surgeon who immediately says lets operate. He looks for alternative treatments. If they don' work then its time for surgery. We have both had surgeries and give Dr. Ahluwalia highest satisfaction. He is kind and compassionate. He takes his time and explains everything. We both are very appreciative to have him as our doctor. My wife just went to him today concerned that her other shoulder was having a problem. After looking at the X-ray which is taken right at his office he concluded it was an inflammation and he was okay with me having acupuncture which I have had success with. He also had time to answer a question I had about one of my knees. Like I said, he takes his time. He is interested. And, okay, kind on the eyes. LOL. I am in a good mood. No surgery !!!
