Dr. Thomas Mcdonald is the best, kindest and compassionate orthopedic surgeon. When I fractured my ankle 11 years ago, severely enough to require surgery, I met him at the NEOS practice in Springfield, MA and immediately trusted that he would help
me become mobile again. His easy going mannerism was key. As a registered nurse, I’ve been in contact with physicians from a vast variety of specialties. Some good, some not so good, and some that weren’t worthy of carrying MD after their name. Dr. McDonald is the gold star example of what a physician should be to gain the trust and respect of patients. I was fortunate to have 11 years of pain free mobility following my ankle surgery but recently found walking distances was uncomfortable at times. I was able to quickly get an appointment with Dr. McDonald at his current office in Enfield, CT. An X-ray and exam revealed some arthritis in my ankle. After a thorough visit and assessment I elected to have a cortisone injection which helped immediately. I walked out of his office pain free and feeling confident that I can move forward without fear of needing another surgery. I am now able to resume my normal daily routine in a comfortable manner, thanks to this amazing doctor!

For a very busy office, I was brought in for X-Ray’s and put into an exam room. Dr. McDonald was in the room rather quickly. I am thoroughly impressed with your office and I’ll definitely be back!

Dr. McDonald, has a great bedside manor. I have talked with multiple people, from patients, to those in the medical field, who have nothing but good things to say about him. I highly recommend him. He gives you all possibilities, to prepare for either outcome. He wants you to call, if you have a question or problem. His staff is also awesome.
