Drs. Haden & Whidden Route 44 Coventry Connecticut Dental office are the most professional and most accommodating dentist we have ever had. Myself, my husband and my son all had appointments yesterday but due to the snowstorm our appointments were canceled. They were so accommodating that they gave us appointments today at the same time. All three of us went in this morning and had dental work done. We are so appreciative that they took us all at same times. We come from Massachusetts and it’s an hour and a half drive to the dentist office and we would do it no matter what. The receptionist at the front desk went out of her way to make this happen. The dental hygienist spend a lot of time with you, and they always make you feel very comfortable. The dentist always do a complete examination.
We are three very content patients who return every six months year after year.

DO NOT TRUST THIS DENTAL OFFICE!

I had my worst experience ever with a dental office. My 3 kids' dentist closed during covid, so my wife and I decided to try and move our entire family of 5 to this office base on it being close to our house.

I have never had a dental bill for cleaning/checkups in the past and after our 1st appointments in this the office, they hit our family of five with a $1700 bill.

I called for an explanation and they tried to blame everything on my wife who had made the appointments, I let them know it was irresponsible of them to bring us in if we were "out of network" I had specifically warned them that before my personal appointment that I already had two cleanings and X-rays this calendar year and did not think I should be evaluated at all. Again they assured me not to worry.

Once the bill was received and I called for an explanation they acted like we never communicated our concerns, and have taken no responsibility but were happy to take our money.

I assured the secretary that had they let us know we were going to receive any bill at all, never mind a $1700 bill I would have happily gone elsewhere that I have a family of 5 to feed.

Go somewhere else they are dishonest/distrustful and dont take any responsibility. Very unfortunate as we tried to help a local business only to suffer.

I would give 0 stars but this review form doesn't allow that.

I thought the entire staff were caring ❤. Dr. Whidden was very kind and explained everything every step of the way. His assistant Tracy was very nice and went over all the instructions with me. I felt very comfortable in their hands! I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for some great dental care.

This place is has really gone down hill. The new dentists are horrible. The work they did was awful. She fixed three cavities, all of which she rushed through and they have since fallen off. They never felt right, but I couldn't go back to get them looked at because they charged me 2k for the three fillings, and wouldn't look at my mouth again until I payed it all full. No payment plans, and also poor communication to the price I would be charged. Worst part is when I called to try to get things figured out, the women who now answers the phone is ruuuuude as it gets. She talked over me and interrupted me at every opportunity and then had the nerve to tell me I was being rude.
