I absolutely love the care I receive here with Dr. Kristal Jaster. She’s incredibly kind and has been taking care of me for a long time. No matter what health concerns I have, she always addresses them thoroughly or refers me to the right specialist when needed. I truly feel well cared for!

Amazing care. Roxanne at the front desk is always very kind and accommodating. I saw PA Kristal Jaster and she made me feel seen and heard. I’m so used to being told “you’re fine” when I feel terrible. She was reassuring and is taking great care of me.

Called to schedule an appointment, provided all the necessary information over the phone. After that I was told to come to the office to fill up the paperwork and ONLY after that I can get an appointment. To my question “why” I was told this is the rule of the office in quite a rude manner. This is nonsense. When I asked to transfer me to the supervisor the lady said nobody is in the office, then I’ve asked to tell me her name so I will be able to leave a review that it is stupid to make someone to drive to the office to get an appointment while the whole world is able to do it online or over the phone. As soon as I asked her name she immediately put me on hold saying she’s trying to connect me to her manager (c’mon, you said nobody’s in the office, remember?). This was repeated 2-3 times: me asking her name and her putting me on hold right after my question. So……what should I say the place is junk even before you have a chance to step into the office. Front desk is rude, management and supervisors are absent and to get an appointment you have to drive to the office.

My wife and I truly hold Dr. Jaster and her team in high regard for the care and attention they provide. From Roxanne at the front desk to the skilled, smiling nurses and phlebotomist, they really make you feel like family. I can only say good things about this office. Are you seeking a new medical professional? If so, then I highly recommend Dr. Jaster and their services at Effingham Family Medicine, Port Wentworth office.

I never write reviews, but the disrespect I experienced from the staff at Effingham Family Health compelled me to speak out. Every time I called, the receptionist was incredibly rude, especially when I asked additional questions. They made me feel like being a patient there was a burden. They spoke to me condescendingly on multiple occasions, leading me to cancel my appointment and decide not to return. In short, don't waste your time—find another doctor.

I absolutely adore the ladies here. Now I do miss Felicia being with Effingham Family medicine, but I am thankful she left Angie! Angie goes above and beyond and i pray she gets the recognition she truly deserves. Samantha is always polite and is very good and professional at her job…Kristal is great as well. Angie is always running around everywhere while I’m there but she always shows her kindness and professionalism. Kristal stays on top of medical needs due to past medical problems and I’ve grown to really like her. I’m so glad I came to this office. I can’t think of the man there who vows to find my veins for bloodwork…he’s very nice and I thank him from staying away from the veins in my hands!!

There really aren’t enough stars on here to rate this office!!! They’re awesome!

I love the environment everyone is so sweet. Angie (nurse) is phenomenal! She is always smiling and willing to answer any questions we may have. My family feels so comfortable being around Angie and never have we been mistreated by her or anyone at this location. When Kennicott moved away we were upset until we seen Angie at this location. I tell her all the time she is our Angel. There are not many people who actually will go above and beyond their job, but she is one of them! I am so thankful for her, my family is as well. I wish I could leave a million stars but it will only give me an option of 5! Thank you all for your kindness and Angie thanks for being you!

I absolutely love Dr. Kristal. I’ve never been heard by a doctor before until I started seeing her. She’s my absolute favorite and actually cares about her patients. I look forward to every visit. She’s always kind, as well as the staff and the nurses.
