visite este hospital el miércoles 10- febrero-2016. los síntomas fueron fiebre, tos, mucosidad marrón, dolor en espalda dolor de cuerpo y dificultad para respirar, y debilidad. adicional a esto estuve mal del estómago durante 2 días antes de esta visita. y el médico sólo me hizo rx de pecho, y recetó imodium y un líquido con codeína para la tos. no miró mi garganta , ni mi nariz, ni oídos, ni puebra de sangre, ni prueba de orina. y al final me envió para mi casa sin ayudarme realmente... sólo me dio una tableta de tylenol. pasé muy mal la noche, con más fiebre de 102°. torciendo mucho y con flema oscura, hasta el punto de tener un dolor en el pecho muy muy fuerte. y tuve que regresar aquí al hospital. desde las 9:30am del jueves 11- febrero- 2016. me atendió Dr. Hogan. tuve que decirle que necesitaba antibióticos, terapia de albutherol y esteroides como pulmicor para esta condiciones, pues soy asmático desde siempre. y dijo que me hiban a dar medicamentos para esta codicion. y luego de retirarse llevo en un cuarto sólo sin medidor de oxígenacion. y torciendo como un perro. y fatigado. nadie a vendido a verme en la última 1 1/2 hora. ni para ponerme albutherol para poder respirar y ninguna otra medicina. me siendo debil y ni siquiera tengo el botón para llamar al enfermera. visit the hospital on Wednesday 10- February-2016. Symptoms included fever, cough, runny brown, back pain body pain and shortness of breath, and weakness. Additional to this was sick to my stomach for two days before this visit. and the doctor just made me rx chest and struck imodium and liquid codeine cough. He did not look at my throat, and my nose, no ears, no puebra blood or urine test. and finally he sent me home without really help me ... just gave me a tablet of Tylenol. I had a bad night with a fever over 102 °. much twisting and dark phlegm, to the point of having a pain very strong chest. and I had to come back here to the hospital. from 9:30 am on Thursday, 11-February-2016 I attended Dr. Hogan. I had to tell him I needed antibiotics and steroid therapy albutherol as pulmicor for this condition, because I am asthmatic forever. and he said hiban give me drugs for this codición. and after retiring I have in a room only without oxygen meter. and coughing like a dog. and fatigued. no one sold to me in the last 1 1/2 hours. or to put albutherol to breathe and no other medicine. me being weak and not even have the button to call the nurse.

I was absolutely blown away with my treatment at this hospital recently. I went 2 years ago into emergency room at memorial hospital in Savannah with the same pain only to be told I was constipated and sent home. For the last 2 yrs I suffered until I went into emergency room at Effingham hospital. They listened to me and treated me so well. I ended up needing my gal bladder removed and the experience was amazing!! Every single nurse, nurses aid, student, and doctor was so amazing. I will always be grateful to them for helping me and making the experience the best when I was going through such terrible health issues.

I was just recently in effingham hospital for 4 days. The nursing staff and techs were absolutely great. The doctors were also great they listen to you and made time to hear you thru. Dr. Curro and Dr. Wynn took very good care of me and made sure all my questions were answered.

My wife visited the er having discomfort in abdomen and chest, feeling passes. The doctor checks her out. Tells her her heart is good no concerns it just anxiety gives her pills sends her home. 4 days later wakes up same exact symptoms died of heart attack/ heart failure within minutes and this was all at 6 in the morning. We had advanced directives drawn up a while back the hospital never called me I found out my wife was dead in the er 5 hrs after it happened

If you ever hear me talk about effingham hospital, you will hear us call it the band aid station. I have never really liked effingham hospital. Since it opened I've went there a handful of times and have never truly gotten the help I need. If your going for something very simple like a cold, a small burn, small cut, etc, then you will be fine. But if you have anything worse than that do not go. I went for a miscarriage one time and they told me they couldn't help me cuz they didn't have anyone to work the ultrasound machine... gave me ibuprofen and told me to sleep it off. The other day I went for a nasty ear infection that just started, they gave me the same antibiotics that my doctor gives my 3 year old. Needless to say after 2 painful days of it getting worse I ended up going to another hospital and finally got the help I needed. My dad went there a few years ago after bariatric surgery for major pain that was making him vomit. They told him he was constipated. 2 days later he died twice on the operating table at memorial after 5 feet of his intestins were gang greened. Thankfully he survived but he said he will never go there again. I don't recommend to anyone unless it's very minor.

My fiance came in yesterday and they didn't do any thing but test him for they flu and covid. They didn't even take his blood pressure , temp etc . This place has always been sorry to me because my nephew almost died because of them . Luckily we took his to memorial in Savannah .

Went to ER… was treated by Dr. Christopher Campbell … his bedside manner was unprofessional and not empathetic what so ever.

I was flabbergasted by his poor bedside manner and quite aggravated with the fact that I felt like my time was wasted because he didn’t see an emergent point of my BP being high and being post partum.

If I have to come back to ER, I would request for a different physician to tend to me or my family.

We are so lucky to have this place in out little town. Dr Wynn has operated on every member of my family and he's great, but what makes this place special is the nursing staff. They are simply amazing, caring, friendly, even funny. Be medical care I've ever had.
