Dr. Ratchford is great! My son is usually very combative at his previous doctors appointments. Dr. Ratchford had him laughing and playing and was able to examine him with no issue. My wife and I have been seeing Ratchford for a few years and he’s taken very good care of us through some scary situations.

I have been with this medical office for almost two years and so far I have had good experiences. Mostly due to the PA that was assigned to me. She was always very professional, kind, she took her time to listen to me. Until today.
I understand that here in the US health care is just a business. And I understand that because of this system money come before our health. But there is a limit.
I was tested positive to Covid yesterday morning (Sunday) and my symptoms have been on the high end of mild. Not at the point to be hospitalized, but at the point were I need to rest and the body aches have not been fun at all.
This morning I called the doctor's office asking if I could talk with someone in order to start a therapy. I was told that the doctor does not answer the phone and that for Covid I should go there to be seen.
So let's see, I am in pain, headache, sinus problems, outside there is the storm but I have to drive to their office. Why? Just to charge the insurance with the visit? So I had a virtual visit with an online service and got my prescription. How comes they can prescribe medications even if they don't see me? Of course they charge me for the service. And this makes you understand that the whole problem is money! I guess I will move to the next doctor. I know it's all the same, but right now I don't have any trust in this office.
This is not right.

Dr. P.B. Patel is a smart man and wonderful physician with many years of experience in his practice. My daughter and I have been seeing him for over a decade. Yeah sometimes the wait can be long, but that's because they try to see everyone. Those with appointments and those with urgent needs as well. It's rarely a problem to get a same day appointment when you wake up sick.
