I expressed concern about the mistreatment I received from some members of the staff. After my son was placed on a three-year waitlist, I voiced my frustration about how other children who had just arrived were being given priority. As a result of speaking up, it seems they found a way to remove my son from the center.

My son has a rare condition—only two children in the entire state of New York are diagnosed with it. Every doctor we’ve consulted agrees that aquatic therapy has made a significant positive difference in his development. I was simply trying to advocate for my child.

Unfortunately, Ms. Margie Rodríguez repeatedly lied to prevent my son from accessing the therapies he needs. Both she and Clarissa treated me with great disrespect. It’s shameful that these individuals took away such a vital opportunity from a child who truly depends on these therapies for his growth and well-being.

My son was sick and unable to attend classes for about a month due to a high fever. Even though we provided documentation and ER visit records, they still took away his spot. It’s deeply disappointing and disheartening to see people in positions of care act this way.

It is a specialized facility for children. It is open 24 hours, free parking for customers. This facility is very clean. They really care about their patients . There is doctors on the site even though it is a long term facility. Nurses are very friendly. In their vent unit, Respiratory Therapists are very knowledgeable and talented. They provide life support for 24 hours for those who are on the ventilators. All though it is a long term care facility, it looks like a hospital .

Terrible place to work. Constantly understaffed, poor morale, bad leadership, cut throat environment with children involved. Would not recommend working here. Not sure if I would trust having a family member live here due to the constant short staffing and low morale.

On December 14, 2023, Santa Claus, with the help of his friends from Santa Express aka White Plains Professional Fire Fighters - IAFF Local 274, made a special visit to Elizabeth Seton Children's School and Elizabeth Seton Children's Rehabilitation Center in White Plains to spend the morning with all our children who, of course, are all on the "nice" list! Mr. Claus and his jolly cast of characters distributed sweet stuffed animals to our good boys and girls - continuing a beloved annual tradition that we look forward to every year! This is an outstanding children’s center. Everyone should open their hearts to be grateful for the excellent care that is provided for these children and donate to help less fortunate children struggling to manage and maintain a better quality of life.

The admissions office, specifically Jane Is not a very nice person and as a facility founded by Catholics and Still has St Elizabeth Seton’s name she could not have been more unfair and more uniformed about our son. Declined him due to miss information and never even went to evaluate or see him based on what someone told her. A child who does NOT walk and cannot turn themselves as she stated” could be a danger to a child with a Trach or ventilator- completely impossible!! But it shows her ignorance. Definitely not the compassion of Christ or St Elizabeth Seton at that admissions office!

Me Kenny Escobar and my family want to thank Elizabeth Seton for your profesionalism with my brother Joseph Escobar who lived 19years in this institution. They had provided everything that my brother needed, because of all the nurses and doctors and therapists that were constantly there fighting for his recovery. And thank god he has gotten better over the years. I wanna give a special shoutout to Blanca Rodríguez the head nurse of the school who was excellent!! I would recommend any person who has a special kid to not think twice about this hospital it's great, it's clean, there constantly check up on them! Thank you guys for all the support!

Been part of the Grandparent program since May. Amazing facility with an amazing staff. The kids are great and so well taken care of.
