Dr Gardner is five stars. Dr Gardner was suggested to me by my clinic because of knee pain. I arrive with an MRI CD of which he reviewed prior to meeting me. I found him very personable and after a few tests he scoped my knee and repaired the damage. Yay everything is good. Now fast forward 2 years. 2 yrs Into covid. I decided to see him when I had hip issues. He ordered MRI . I am in pain where I cannot walk with a normal gate. We're talking I need pain meds or I'm in tears. Getting the MRI done I needed to follow up with Dr Gardner. Unfortunately it was very difficult for I left messages and messages and messages, scheduling had me on hold for an hour and sometimes they answer and sometimes not. I just had to find another orthopedic. Let's fast forward a little bit. I heard from Dr Gardner and I told him what obstacles I had been facing. He had no idea that it was getting this difficult for patients to communicate. I told him I found another Ortho. This was not what I wanted to do because I have so much faith behind Dr Gardner. He knows I don't complain but I definitely spilled out a lot of beans for him to chew on. I know these issues were going to be tended to once he was aware that they existed. It's always best to keep some type of communication open with the doctor. Positive negative they don't know unless you actually inform them.

Now let's fast-forward another year
Again I have the utmost faith in Dr Gardner and his abilities. Would I go see him again in the future yes. Why because I believe that he would resolve the issues that I went through so that nobody else would have to. Being in the medical field you know who you can trust. You know what to expect. Dr Gardner is one of those who I have great respect for and I have great confidence in him.

Now let's fast-forward another year. Let's fast-forward another year. I went back to dr. Gardner to have him check out my right knee. I ended up getting a partial knee and got very good care.

Never have I had the privilege of working with such a compassionate physician and surgeon (and that's saying something considering I've had 5 knee surgeries). Dr. Gardner is the most sincere, problem-solving, compassionate, and relatable surgeon I have ever seen. He exhausts all options and is open to trying things while still staying in his lane. I am my mother's caregiver and she has also seen Dr. G. While the care she needs requires a different specialty, Dr. G is caring enough to ask about her wellbeing whenever I come in. That means so much to me. His medical assistant is also amazing. Tarah is thorough and kind and shares Dr. G's deep empathy for their patients. I owe my current quality of life to this team.
