Before scheduling my child's appointment. I reached out to the office. I spoke with front desk regarding my concerns for my child prior to considering going here. The #1 reason I called was to express my Main concern for my child prior to scheduling his first visit with this office due to my child having high functioning autism which includes some sensory issues. I explained what those were… and that he may need someone with extra patience and someone who understands how this affects a child during treatment. I was assured that the Treatment coordinator was great and she would be made aware ahead of time.(THIS WAS NOT DONE) I felt confident in that so we go him scheduled. Once we get to the appt things were definitely not as I had hoped. During the beginning of the visit, it started with pictures it involves pulling of the mouth and sticking a rather large rectangular mirror in the mouth which causes some issues with my child especially when there’s sensory issues. The Treatment coordinator kept acting like she was so annoyed. Huffing and puffing. Kinda throwing her arms up or in downward motion. At first I wasn’t sure if she was just trying to put on an act and try to get him comfortable or what but quickly learned that she was just completely out of line. My Child went for X-rays and I stayed behind. He comes back and said he didn’t want to be there and wanted to leave. I asked why. He explained that she was rude and kept “sighing loudly” he said he was trying to do what she asked and wanted. He said he was Really trying but it was hard for him. I told him that’s ok we will finish the visit and just not come back. It wasn’t a good fit.
However, she comes back to her desk and mentioned a few things and wanted to look at a back tooth. She got her little mirror and attempted to look but my child struggled. Mainly due to fear and just not sure what’s going to happen next and what to expect-as well as something going into the back of his mouth by a lady who has now caused him to NOT trust her or feel safe. She tosses the mirror tool onto the table seemingly annoyed. Walked around to desk and proceeds to tell MY child that she’s doing the same treatment on a 3 year old. Told my child he was making it HARDER than he had to be. That was enough for me. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. It’s inappropriate to compare children regardless of your profession OR POSITION IN AN OFFICE SETTING. Then to kick it up a notch comparing a child that has autism and sensory issues to another child who MOST LIKELY doesn’t have those issues is WRONG! MY CHILD 100% understands what you have said and will carry this into future dental visits. So many people have dental ANXIETY PERFECT EXAMPLE AS TO WHY!! THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK. Especially to a child. It’s demeaning and I instantly saw the hurt in his face because my child was genuinely trying to do what was asked. Maybe with more patience and less temper it could have happened. We walked out after that. She went to get the Doctor or something and I told him it’s time to go. I let the front desk know we were leaving and I’d call about the reason soon-which I did. ABSOLUTELY do not recommend this clinic especially if you have a child who fears the dentist, has any sort of disability that “can’t be seen”. This office needs adequate training in standard patient care, patient experience, and access to care. Also, communications. Very important for any child. What happens in any child visits that will carry with them forever! Remember this! Do better. Golden rule: “Do unto others as you would have others do unto you”.

Best Orthodontist I have met. The staff is knowledgeable and everyone I spoke to had the same answer which to me means there is consistency within the whole staff. The Orthodontist took time to explain the process and answered all the questions I had. When you are looking for an orthodontist for your children or yourself you need to make sure it’s a good fit. For my 6 year old this will be her first long term relationship. We are so happy we found this office.

They are awesome here! Always so friendly and welcoming. They are very knowledgeable, from the hygienists to the orthodontist! They are always willing to work with your schedule and send you text reminders, which is suuuuper helpful for my busy schedule. I have been to both offices and they are both run amazing! My child had a whole host of things going on and they were great at providing referrals where needed (and good referrals). They were also great at explaining the process and the steps that we will be taking for each visit. I highly recommend them?

The staff is all professional and welcoming! Scheduling is a breeze and they always make sure to utilize time as we live far away from the office. My teenage daughter is always comfortable and they explain the procedures to her. The office is clean, comfortable and inviting! Dr. Z is knowledgeable and always makes sure we are taken care of.

Very wonderful place full 9f kind hearted people. My daughter has a very traumatic dental history beginning when she was very young so any dental procedures are very triggering for her, but everyone here tries really hard to help her. Yuani specifically went above and beyond to make my daughter feel safe and comfortable she actually talked with her about her interests and explained procedures to gain her trust and ease her fears. I appreciate that more than words can express.
