I have never written a negative review, but after experiencing the treatment of my mother at this office, I felt compelled. This is the most rude office staff I have every encountered. My mother has seen 3 different doctors in this group and none of them genuinely care. Her appt yesterday lasted 5 min and the doctor would not allow any questions to be asked. It is an outrage that an office and physicians treat an elderly woman in such a manner. I realize we all have off days, however this is what my mother experienced at every visit. If you have a choice in physicians, I would definitely look elsewhere.

Arrive for appt on time, Monday 7/8/2019. Sit there for 20 minutes after signing in. I’m then called to the window and notified as of the Thursday prior my Dr will be out of the office all week. Thus, I wasted my lunch break and then some to not even get to see my Dr. I’m offered the opportunity to see a different doctor, but that defeats the purpose of the level of comfort I’ve gained with my PCP. If this was a last minute happening I wouldn’t be so mad. However I received 2 reminder calls/voicemails between Thursday and my appointment time and neither of them mentioned this reality where my doctor wouldn’t be present. I am beyond frustrated with the lack of consideration and professionalism as well as disorganization.

I would like to start by saying I’m extremely happy with the care my parents have received at IMA staff are kind and accommodating . My parents have been seen by several doctors but Dr. Joel D.Gonzalez is absolutely awesome very Knowledgeable excellent care he’s Compassionate with the care he provided to my parents he’s outstanding.

I had an appointment for today 1/25/2017 at 4:15 with Dr. Favilli. I did not receive a phone call to remind me about the appointment on 1/24/17. So I called they day of my appointment to confirm it was today. The receptionist told me I didn't have an appointment. So I got my card and told her yes I did. She said well yes you do but what insurance do you have. I told her the same I have for years BCBS. She then informed me that Dr. Favilli sold the business but he still works there. She said he is no longer in charge. She said I was called yesterday on the 24th but I didn't answer. I informed her that I checked my phone last night because I thought it was odd I had not received a call. There was NO phone call from their office. She then informed me that Dr. Favilli can only see the patients with a particular insurance. He is NOT ALLOWED to see his former patients unless they have that insurance. I told her I didn't care I still wanted to see him. She again informed me he could not because he has to do what the NEW OWNERS say. Then she informed me my new appointment for another doctor was at 2:45 today. I told her I do not want to see another doctor. She said well do you want me to delete you from our system then? I ask her to give Dr. Favilli a message to call me. She informed me that she could not do that because it would get him in trouble with the NEW OWNERS. She then ask again if I would be there to see the doctor they are pushing on everyone I think she said Dr. Blas or something like that. I told her H___ NO!
Are we living in a communist country? When is not possible to see a doctor you have been going to for years. I went to him when he was in Ft. Meade. This is ridiculous. If this is what kind of facility they are running I want no part of it.
Dr. Favilli is an awesome doctor. I hope this gets resolved.

The staff is friendly but we scheduled an Appt for an HPV vaccine for my daughter and to get established as a new patient. Went for first Appt and they said it was listed rescheduled without a reschedule date so we reschedule for today. Go in and get paperwork done, asks if it's just to establish and told them about the HPV which they then say they don't administer those. So after three weeks and two wasted trips we have to find someone else and start over.

I went for the first time with Dr. Joel Gonzalez because my primary doctor was not available , and I was worried because I had a red eye, so I decided to go with him , when I got to the office he asked me why I came with him if I have any other symptoms? and he apologizes because he didn’t wear gloves but he wear his face mask, then he checked me and I asked him what he thought it could be ?and his answer was “ I don’t know”, he prescribed a medicine so he was finished , when I asked him if he think is no necessary to refer me to an eye doctor he left his chair and told me “you don’t listening all the things that I said” he said goodbye and made a derogatory comment about my nationality he ask me if are you from Venezuela? I said I am why? His answer was because Venezuelan people complains for a nail pain

There really isnt an experience..every visit is the same ..very professional ,and personal..Dr.is great and all the staff..thank you all for taking such good care of ME..?
