Medicaid discrimination has to end!
I called today to make an appointment and when I informed them that I have Cigna and Medicaid, I was told that this office does not accept any patients with Medicaid. I explained that Cigna is my primary and Medicaid is just backup, but that apparently doesn’t make a difference. I have Medicaid because I was hit by a drunk driver two years ago and my insurance at the time (United) denied life-sustaining care despite outrage and resistance from my entire care team. So now I’m getting punished for the fact that corporate insurance denied care for massive injuries and permanent disability I got as a victim of a drunken hit and run, forcing me to go on Medicaid. I understand that Medicaid has a lower reimbursement rate for providers and can be a hassle to deal with, but whatever the reason this office has decided to discriminate against poor and disabled people, it’s unacceptable. Doctors are supposed to care about everyone, but clearly this one doesn’t.

I’ve been here once before and realize why I didn’t come back. It’s always phone tag trying to get into contact with anyone, especially in a timely manner. I was supposed to get a call from doctors office as to when I could start medication and I have yet to hear back from them. It’s been over two weeks without a solution.

EDIT: Eventually they sent it in, but it was the wrong dosage of medication after the fact, then blamed it on my insurance. Insurance verified the mistake was not on their end ?

Also, the doctor talks to staff in a VERY demeaning way which can be heard from the back! I won’t come back. Take your ego trip elsewhere and treat your staff and patients better!

I had a great experience. Dr. Mucinskas was respectful, honest and had a sense of humor. He also laid out all the options with success rates of treatment, the comparable costs and insurance coverage, and allowed me to figure out what was best. This is what I look for in a doctor.

Ok, so I have probably only written a few reviews in my entire life.... but had to take the time to do so with this doctor. I visited him several months ago and he diagnosed me with bruised/injured toes and I still remained concerned and he assured me everything was still ok. He has a lot of compassion, and I am so blessed to have found him! I would highly recommend him to anyone. 🙂

I have never dealt with a more unprofessional office when it comes to billing and billing questions. My husband had a laser treatment done that they said was not covered by insurance. We have an HSA, so everything should be sent to insurance, we THEN we get billed. They said he needed to pay $150 up front and came home with only a register receipt. I've been trying to get a billing statement of services for a week and have been getting the run around. They've billed my insurance $150. I feel they are double dipping! They are claiming that was for the consultation. Only when I called and questioned them are they trying to come up with a bill for me. I've not seen it yet. I say STAY AWAY

I have been coming to Feet First since they opened, and I love Dr Adam and the Staff!! They are warm and friendly and are very professional when you call if there is a billing issue...I know there was a new billing problem..NOT BY THEM (The Insurance Company Themselves) And the Staff goes the extra mile to accommodate you .Myra is a great lady makes sure that your comfortable and a great asset to Feet First,. But Dr Adam has taken care of my feet because I have Multiple Scerlosis and I trust no one but him!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Feet First for all your Foot Needs, And If you have an insurance problem, give the office to rectify the problem first or make sure your insurance is correct and current and in order..

Absolutely stellar communication from the whole Feet First team. Always respectful and informative, and very accommodating. Dr. Mucinskas fully informed me of what my procedure entailed, including recovery time and potential side effects. I am confident that I have placed my trust in a doctor that is both knowledgeable and caring.
