I’ve been seeing Dr. David Fields for about 16 or more years now. I find him and his staff to be extremely congenial and professional. He takes time to speak with you and more importantly listen to you. I’ve never ever had a bad experience in his office. His staff is very courteous and kind. Going to Dr. David Field is like going to your neighborhood country doctor. I say that because of their genuine Southern hospitality. I highly recommend Dr Fields!

I've been seeking a primary care physician close to me for over a year and I'm happy to say I found one that I loved. From the time I called to schedule to leaving the office 10/10 would recommend this office. The nurse I saw was probably one of the most caring, patient and willing to help/listen, the office staff was kind, helpful and knowledgeable and Dr. Fields was excellent, he listened, I didn't feel rushed and he seemed to truly care about health as a whole. I'm very excited to finally have a Dr I can trust and feel seen at. Thank you!

Not sure where to start, I’ve never even seen the actual doctor, several months now and I’ve never been able to get all of my meds for blood pressure or diabetes, it seems the insurance asks for a doctors reply and that’s out of the question for this doctor. The office has reached out 6 different ways to remind me of a virtual visit to review my labs, he was a no show. My overall health has declined severely and I’m forced to find another doctor.
Don’t waste your time, don’t risk your health! I don’t understand how this dude has a license to practice medicine. Real loser!

Went in with shoulder pain. I legit could barely move my arm.

Dr. Fields rushed in, told me I just had bad inflammation, refused to actually listen to or answer any questions, wrote me a quick prescription for anti inflammatories, and sent me on my way. I then went to a different place and had an MRI done. Turns out I have a 95% torn labrum and will likely require surgery.

Would not recommend to anyone in any situation.

Getting prescriptions refilled is a nightmare. I call yesterday Thursday 12/5/2024. I had to call back several times to actually speak to someone. Told them i was leaving to go out of town and needed to get all my prescriptions refilled. I was told they would push it to the Dr. Now it's Friday they never called in the prescriptions, there were closed today, no call backs or anything. Cvs in Monroe said they haven't recieved anything from dr fields office for me. Now I'll run out of my meds Tuesday. I don't return until next Friday. Poor poor service from a medical office that patients depend on.

We scheduled a newborn well check for our baby with Melissa Smith. Only after showing up did we find out that Melissa was out. They made it seem like she was out on emergency. While sitting in the waiting room I over heard another one of her patients say something about Melissa leaving Dr fields practice at the end of the month, so I went to the receptionist desk to ask for a business card so we could follower her where ever she went. They said they were “fresh out”. This threw a red flag and I started asking more questions. They lied and said Melissa called last Friday and was no longer going to come in to practice. We were never informed by Dr fields office, which I found to be terribly unprofessional!

We have 5 children that we spent an hour getting ready and loaded up in a van then drove from Decatur 45min away, then waited in their waiting room for 40min and then had to drive 45min back home because they have no integrity and no plan to tell Melissa Smiths clients that she is no longer there!

You can’t trust a Dr without integrity and everyone in that office should be ashamed of themselves.

I get an allergies shot every week and it's usually pretty quick but today I had appointment at 1145 they called me and moved it to 945. I got to appointment on time was taken back within a few minutes then sat for an hour 20 minutes without seeing anybody. I got up went to desk and asked if they forgot me and the lady at the front said I don't know I work the front here not back there. I then said come on now and she said I will check. I then sat another 25 minutes got up and told them I had to go my time is money also. The same lady at the front said oh they still hadn't seen you. I said no I had to go! This place seems very unorganized and not involved or about making patients better. Not even a I'm sorry nothing!! Dr. Fields is great when you see him but other then that the staff needs improvement!!

This has been my doctor for me and my kids since I moved to Georgia in 2004, his is amazing, staff is awesome, he is always available to answer any questions regarding your health care needs. I will definitely recommend him to anyone.
