Loved my entire experience at Dr. Learn’s office! I went in for the Avelli cellulite treatment and I can’t rave about this enough! Cellulite was a huge insecurity for me and regardless of exercise or nutrition cellulite was very much still present. Avelli is a game changer and the results gave me a new found confidence! I did Avelli with Lauren in their office and it was a one day treatment, she explained everything thoroughly and was very patient and comforting during the procedure. I didn’t feel pain at all during the process since local anesthesia was used. For recovery, there is some soreness that day and bruising for a couple of weeks but no pain. I could walk my dog as normal the next day and resume my usual exercise within 2 weeks. If you’re looking for long lasting cellulite treatment I highly recommend Avelli at Dr. Learn’s office!

Dr. Lisa Learn’s office is about a 45-minute to an hour drive from my house but I had heard great things about her, so I made an appointment. I walked into her office and immediately felt relaxed and comfortable. Dr. Learn is very professional yet welcoming, kind, patient and compassionate. I was very nervous about the procedure I wanted. I had talked to several other doctors in the past about it but never felt comfortable or trusted them enough to have it done. After my first consultation with Dr. Learn, I knew she was the Doctor I had been looking for. I am beyond satisfied with my results. I cannot praise Dr. Learn and her staff enough for the office, surgery, and aftercare service I received.

I did a lot of research before my consultation with Dr. Learn. True to her reviews, Dr. Learn listened to my concerns and reviewed all the options with me in a clear and practical way. I selected the cosmetic surgeries that best suited my objectives.

Dr. Learn operated on me in Dec. 2005 in Ephrata, PA, before she left for Florida, a joint operation to start reconstruction after my bilateral mastectomy. For months, I dealt with horrible malaise, and she implied it was my mental health causing the fatigue from losing my breasts. I had been on anceph for months, which didn't help, but once I stopped the antibiotics- as directed, I crashed. I was hospitalized (in isolation) off and on for over a month, and she had to remove the tissue expanders because they were wrapped in a MRSA staph infection. I later learned that a lab test of drain fluid HAD shown staph, and she missed it. Additionally, I had to wait a year, with a flat chest, to start the entire process of expanding the tissue with another plastic surgeon. That whole process went great. But due to the infection, I lost time off work. I lost time of my life in the hospital, and I suffered horrible gender dysphoria during that year. Dr. Learn apologized profusely, but it's no comfort to me 20 years later. She's a very nice doctor, but make sure she's actually paying attention to you.
