He was rude and yelled at me when I asked questions and threatened to throw me out . I had a horrific experience- He basically told me I didn’t deserve to get my foot cared for properly. Explained nothing and was mad that I told him what another Dr had told me instead of calmly explaining it. An extremely disturbed and unhappy individual who treated me unprofessionally. I don’t care how many degrees you have - kindness, patience and understanding would have helped if he even had any of those qualities. There’s no way I’m going back to him and his behavior has caused me to seek out another opinion. I want my foot to be ok . I only have 2 of them! I like walking ! And other things !

Dr. Chaus is an Excellent Dr. He has done a previous surgery on me 2 years ago. I'm now scheduled for another surgery on my ankle May 1, 2024 after a fall and breaking my ankle again. I have complete trust and know that I'm in the best of care with Dr. Chaus.

This is the second time I have had need for Dr. Chaus to treat me. This last time it was for a significantly broken ankle that required surgery. He has been wonderful. He is caring, professional, empathetic, knowledgeable, and very good at what he does. He listens to my concerns, and takes everything into consideration as he responds and continues treatment. There's a reason I came back to him this second time, and I will continue to come back to Dr. Chaus in the future.

Dr. Chaus has seen me now after two falls. Last year, he helped me get back to full function after a fall trying to help my aging parents. I always felt he cared and offered good options.
I went back to him yesterday for follow up care for a broken ankle after another doctor in the practice couldn’t or wouldn’t communicate to me or the physical therapist in a way that made sense to either of us after I’d been in a boot for 8 weeks, about what I could or couldn’t do, and wouldn’t explain.
Dr. Chaus looked at my X-rays and cleared me to finally literally get back on my feet. Thank you, Dr. Chaus for treating me like an adult, and like I can get back to normal under the care of the PT.
My only complaint is that I felt rushed, but it might be that he was fitting me into his busy schedule. I wish there had been time to talk about my other leg which was on the referral, but clearly he was busy. Since I’d not experienced that before with him, I give him the benefit of the doubt. I’m just appreciative he took me back on short notice and listened.

Dr Chaus was kind & positive, giving me the OK for 4 pelvic fractures after a serious auto accident, & allowing me to start to live my life normally. His latest XRay may have shown some curvature of the spine, & recommended that I contact Dr Gerlach for a follow-up.

Dr. Chaus came highly recommended to us for my son’s broken clavicle. He is professional and kind, and absolutely top notch in his work. The procedure and recovery have gone perfectly. He is the best of the best!

Dr. Chaus was able to get me into surgery immediately and I'm very happily back at home now, recovering with very little pain! Maisonneuve (spiral) fractures the ankle and fibula like mine tend to be very painful, but due to expert surgery, anesthesiology and nerve blocking, I'm off my pain meds after only 2 days! This is the second major surgery I've had with OCR (formerly Front Range Orthopedics, my first operation was spinal fusion with Dr. Gerlach). Both have been VERY successful experiences for me and I have every confidence in Dr. Chaus's on-going treatment of my most recent injury. I can only highly recommend OCR, Dr. Chaus and Dr. Gerlach and hope that anyone who need their services is lucky enough to be under their care. Their competence is a thing of great joy and beauty!!

THANK YOU
