I have been loyal to GDP for 12 years.

I have never encountered a more incompetent medical provider than Brookhaven location. Every visit has been a frustrating and unpleasant experience. The lack of professionalism, care, and basic competence is astounding. I wouldn’t recommend this practice to anyone. Save your time and money by going elsewhere.

They first overcharged me $480 by failing to submit a claim to my insurance. Then, they prescribed me an intense medication that caused a severe reaction. Despite my repeated calls and photos expressing concern, I received no response from their office. The reaction was so severe I had to seek treatment at urgent care, who treated the reaction. To make matters worse, they later called in the wrong dosage of medication, which unnecessarily extended my treatment plan by an additional month. The lack of professionalism and accountability is unacceptable.

Fed up to say the least.

I traveled from Charlotte, NC to see Dr. Alia Brown. I’ve seen five dermatologists prior to seeing her and she was the ONLY one to properly diagnose me. She was knowledgeable, she explained to me very thoroughly my condition and how to treat it, and she was kind while doing so. She is well worth my travel. Caela, who works with Dr. Brown is also a sweetheart.

I love Atlanta traveling ak the way from Los Angeles to come see them.

Everyone was friendly from the check-in desk, to the technicians from the hallway, and even in the room with the doctor. The office is really nice and held a good environment. Dr. Mercer was very welcoming, and gave me good detail on my condition with practical treatment. She kept my financial matter in mind when suggesting treatment which made me feel secure to continue treatment. By having my insurance company to make sure everything lines up with coverage, I feel very confident returning to the practice.
