Everything was fine for my initial visit until I went to check out. I was told to go through Checkout office before I left and they would call to set up an appointment. The only person in checkout was on the phone and it appeared to be a personal call. I waited until the lady in checkout told me to go to the front desk and they would check me out. I said I was told to go to checkout and she pointed and said they would help me at the front desk. The lady at the front desk looked at my paperwork and told me I needed to go through checkout and I stated the lady in checkout told me to go to the front desk, but I was sent back to checkout. In the meantime, the customer that was initially in line behind me was now being waited on by the lady in checkout. When she saw me the lady in checkout told me once again to go to the front desk and I responded that I was not going to keep going back and forth and they needed to figure out who was doing checkouts. The lady in checkout was rude and dismissive towards me, but she took my paperwork even though she seemed annoyed that I was back and merely said thank you. She provided no information but I already knew the clinic would call to set up an appointment. I asked for her name so I could file a complaint about her manner and unwillingness to check me out of the clinic so she hurriedly wrote her name on a card and gave it to me. It appears this is her normal manner in dealing with customers and she obviously knew nothing would become of a complaint. The VA should not send veterans to this clinic until their staff's customer relations improve.

Go to Visionworks instead! I called Georgia Eye Institute, and someone spoke very rudely to me over a lot of background noise and informed me that the first available appointment was over 2 months out.

Visionworks on the other hand allowed me to schedule online, had next day appointments, had nice new equipment, and everything I'd ever need for a normal eye appointment and glasses/contacts. They were all super nice.

I was nervous about cataract surgery alto others said as well as my wonderful doctor Dr Bromley it was simple quick. My vision has improve 100 percent The Eye surgery team was very comforting also the other staff and ,check in is very nice also I'm very glad I went to Georgia Eye Institute if you need eye care this is the place.

No. Just no. The billing department is terrible to deal with. They lost record of my co-payment. Billing me almost 6 months later about it. Too bad because I really liked Dr. Dietch but they staff is unprofessional
- at best.

I just wanna share my experience with Georgia eye Institute. I went in to get some glasses. Miss Lorraine was awesome. The people on the front line will make or break your business. She helped me find the best glasses for me. Best service I ever had!

I brought my mom in law to her appointment wait time wasn’t too bad. The doctor was friendly and really helped my mom in law with her issue. The assistants were too. The people at the front desk were fantastic even though it’s really crazy in there they helped us out in a timely and organized fashion. The entire place made me feel like I would want to go there myself.

I almost canceled my appointment due to the reviews on here . Glad I didn’t . Wait time was not bad at all longest wait was waiting on doctor to enter the room. Everyone was friendly . I only gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because Doctor just wasn’t friendly and didn’t explain a whole lot ( maybe because I am use to the eye doctor in Atlanta who was friendly explained everything and took time with patients. Based on today would highly recommend this facility .
