The doctors, nurses, and people in the lab are excellent here. I have no problem with any of them. Unfortunately, they cannot be reached directly by phone.

On January 26, 2024 (Friday) I called to get a prescription refilled. I had four days of medication left and figured that would be more than plenty of time since Hamilton Convenient Care is open seven days a week and my pharmacy is too. No one answered the phone(this will be a trend) so I left a message with all my details asking for refills. By Monday I am on the last dose and I have heard nothing, so I call again around 8:45am. I am told that “there were no messages left on Friday.” Okay, that’s not true, but whatever. So I ask if refills could happen today. Yes, if the nurse can get to it; maybe today or maybe tomorrow. I stopped by the office and was told that the nurse had been informed. Great! I should have refills in no time, right?

4:30pm rolls around and I still haven’t heard anything. 22 phone calls and an email later and I still have no refills. Both my brother and I have called from four different phones trying to get through. He finally gets in touch with someone who proceeds to tell him that we need to be more responsible than to call in refills once we’re out and that the nurses are busy. Finally, after way more trouble than necessary my refills get sent to my pharmacy after 5pm, as confirmed by my pharmacy. They are kind enough to put a rush on things so no dosages are missed.

After all this trouble when my email is returned I call Laurie, as directed by the email, at 1:03pm on January 31, 2024. She’s the practice manager(?) and she proceeded to tell me that I should have known my doctor didn’t work on Fridays, except when he does work on Fridays. But there were no messages left on Friday. When they’re saying that they’re not saying I’m lying, they’re just saying that there were no messages left on Friday. Laurie tells me that they can’t always answer the phone because they get over 500 phone calls a day. Wow! You’d think they’d be confused as to why there were no messages left on Friday then. I don’t have my doctor’s schedule memorized and I doubt they’d tell me if I asked what days he was working. She also told me that my prescription was called in to my pharmacy around 4:30pm, which was a lie according to their own app, which I have since downloaded (unless 4:30 and 5:17 are the same time). If they are having trouble keeping up with the volume of patients or messages then they need to get that worked out. Laurie told me the best she could do is retrain the receptionists. Maybe teach them not to delete messages without passing the info along to someone. No apologies were given during this process either, other than the “we’re sorry you were displeased.” So if you have to deal with this place by phone be prepared to spend all day doing it.

Also, if you are on hold for more than a few minutes their system will hang up and you will be rerouted to the front desk again. Best of luck to you all.

Dr Snodgrass and the staff and nurses are wonderful and caring. So grateful for a Dr that actually listened to me.

It was a great experience. My boyfriend had flu . We went to get a walk in appointment. We were in and out less than 30 mins . The doctor , nurses and front receptionist are nice . Highly recommend

Brought my daughter in today and forgot my insurance cards and apparently they changed to a different computer system. I offered to go all the way back home but the guy asked the girl upfront to help him find it and they got me checked in and let me know before I was called back that they called my insurance and got the member ID and they wrote it down and gave me a card to keep Just incase. It’s the little things like this that shows how much they care about people!

I had a great experience here. I went around 4:50pm on a Wednesday to get a walk-in physical, and there wasn't many patients there at that time. They provided a Phreesia pad for filling out information (instead of paper forms). I was in and out within an hour. The people were nice and provided efficient and 'convenient' care!

Would not recommend this doctor's office for nothing. They are very rude to their customers and do not understand that life gets in the way. I work 60-80 hours a week and can't just drop my job all to go see the quack doctor that works here. If you needing a primary care Dr don't go here cause they suck. God forbid life happens and some how you can't make your appointment and have to reschedule it. They want see you no more
