I have taken my 12 year old son who's a competitive boxer to Dr. Hammond twice, once for his knee and once for a shoulder injury. Highly recommend him and their office to anyone with a young athlete dealing with any sort of injury. Super friendly, informative, thorough and thoughtful.

I was thoroughly impressed with the attentiveness Dr Hammond and Megan provided to my son. My son was an athlete and he empathized with his injury. He comforted my son with the news that his ACL was torn as if he he knew him all of his life. He always greeted me at the appointments. He Explained details of the knee repair well. His knee healed well after surgery. Dr Hammond didn't rush to have my son back in sports he waited and performed necessary tests to ensure he was ready before providing approval and clearance for sports again. They provided consultation to my son even when he was away at college. I'd recommend his office to anyone with knee injuries.

What a difference a doctor makes. After seeing Dr. Hammond I was very pleased. My injury was not critical however his resolution was awesome and when I left I felt that I will be walking straight in no time. The staff was awesome; they were very organized and professional. He would be my choice in the future if I needed an orthopedic. Thanks Emory and thanks Dr. Hammond

Interesting guy. Nice enough. Avoids eye contact. Seems a bit off-handed in his way of talking at points. Does however address your concerns as needed. Would give 3.5 stars if possible. Fun fact: he pioneered a method of ACL surgeries for people with open growth plates. Is primarily a surgeon. 4 stars needs an above average experience however, and that criteria was not met at my visit.
