Went in for my FIRST appointment today (after waiting over a month), I was taken back on time, vitals taken etc. The young lady put me in a room and said the Doctor will be right in. I was in the room not longer that 4 minutes. The same young lady came in with a green slip of paper. She said the doctor wants you to come back in 3 months. The problem is I didn't see a Doctor, or spoken to anyone in the 4 minutes I was in that room. I responded why do I need to come back? I have not seen anyone? Bottom line is, she was completely serious.. I want a doctor that cares, and a staff that pays enough attention that I don't get confused with anyone else that can lead to problems. I left, asked politely to NOT be billed, came home and made an appointment with Baptist in a coup;e weeks. I[ don't feel like they are organized there, and my health is to important to me.

Dr. Serda Hawthorne is the best primary care doctor I have ever had. No others come close. She never rushes me and effectively course-corrects when I inevitably veer off subject. I have had white coat syndrome most of my life until I was fortunate enough to find Dr. Hawthorne. George-Ann, the primary nurse I interact with is also wonderful. Her calm and professional demeanor puts me at ease. Front end staff are polite and helpful, even while multi-tasking.

They will do anything to unnecessarily bill your insurance including unnecessary tests and follow ups. They wanted me to do blood work twice and then unnecessarily schedule a follow up—if nothing else is wrong why do I need a follow up for routine bloodwork.

Staff is also rude and disorganized.

If I could, I would give zero stars without hesitation. While I cannot speak for the doctor, I must express my extreme dissatisfaction with the office staff. On two separate occasions, my new patient appointments were abruptly cancelled on the day of the appointment. The first cancellation occurred when I arrived for check-in, and the second time, despite receiving a confirmation phone call and seeing the appointment listed in my portal, I was informed just an hour beforehand that it had been cancelled. The reason provided was that the appointment I had scheduled online for new patients wasn't actually for new patients, yet this discrepancy was known to them. Despite their awareness of this issue with their online scheduling system, I am the one left unable to see a doctor due to their office's incompetence. Additionally, the staff member I spoke with claimed they had no means to check the schedule or reschedule my appointment, insisting that I call back for further assistance. This level of unprofessionalism and disregard for patient care is unacceptable.

Absolutely horrible at thier job. Blames problems on the "new system" they have. Never pro-active on scheduling, loses lab work, wants you to re-do. Horrible on communication. Wastes your time. I wish I never used vacation time to come to your office. Strongly suggest finding someone else.

I waited 1 hour past my scheduled appt time to be seen. The visit was indepth and fruitful which, otherwise, made the wait worth it.
I feel confident that the NP has my best interest in heart and she is thorough and congenial. I am satisfied with the care.

I have never been disappointed with this office. My husband and I both are extremely pleased with everything about Dr. S. Hawthorne’s attention to detail. She leaves no stone unturned, she’s very thorough and we highly recommend her if you’re looking for a new Primary Care Dr.

This is an excellent facility. Dr. Serda Hawthorne is wonderful. She listens and is seriously interested in my well-being. I would recommend her for anyone interested in finding a knowledgeable and caring Primary Care Physician. Everyone there is so respectful and friendly.
