I need to be seen ..(on a Sunday night) we are new to the area and my boyfriend took me over to Higgins. The staff were so nice the Doctor was top notch. I've never had such great care in a ER.

The Doctor had absolute ZERO concern for my husband. He never goes to the ER not even when he should usually. The one time he actually agreed with me and went the doctor didn't do anything. Did not even put gloves on to act like he was going to do something. Just walks in says he would refer him to a different doctor and walks out..

No need to explain. Huge lack of communication between the doctor and myself about medication and when I called afterwards, they said I wasn’t prescribed anything. They wouldn’t go talk to the doctor about what I was prescribed and could only suggest that I come back up there for another visit. I HATE leaving bad reviews but what I hate even worse is being treated like some kind of pill hunter. And by the way I passed 2 more broken eggshell pieces of kidney stones through the screen after leaving the ER. You know, the ones that didn’t exist on the CT scan. I wish the staff that treated me the best, except for the doctor and the lady that answered the phone and told me to come back instead of helping me get some medicine to open up my pathways and treat the pain. Please go to another facility if you’re thinking of going here. If you are honestly in pain please please do not go here.

The nurses were very hostile toward me. They gave me the impression that they didn't want to attend to my injuries. I asked one of the nurses if there would be anyone coming in to clean my open wounds. I had just received stitches, and she responded that I could clean it in the sink. I waited over 30 minutes for someone to come in to cover my open wounds. Instead of the nurse placing gauze over my fresh stitches, She placed a band-aid, which caused me to be in excruciating pain when taking it off. When I left the hospital, I felt I didn't realized proper care for my injuries. I went to WellStar, and they informed me that the nurse could have given me an extra stitch. She left some of my skin tissue out.

This emergency room doesn't listen, makes assumptions, has no problem getting violent with patients, employs dr.s whose philosophy is "if they want to live, they'll pay!" Sends patients home even though they are "having a stroke".

Edit:My husband and I have been here approximately 3 times each, and these are our personal experiences.

Info: The hospital was notified of these issues in my most recent survey. Before I left this review. Surprisingly, I'm not interested in doing hospital relations or hr job. Since my last visit, at the beginning of this month, I have actually asked around physically. Face to face, I have found no one close who has good things to say about this er.

I went to Bremen ER due to concern of a possible blood clot in my leg. I never sat down in waiting room. I didn't even have time to eat my snack. I was registered, seen immediately by the doctor, followed immediately by the ultrasound tech who was very thorough. I believe I waited five minutes after she left before a nurse checked in. As soon as the nurse left, the doctor checked back with my results. I was literally in and out in under an hour. And I felt welcomed / valued. Best ER visit ever, better than many GP visits in the past! Keep up the impressive quality service!

I had a traumatizing experience. I was in severe pain, nearly unable to talk, & all I was offered was a warm blanket. I was ignored while i writhed in agony for over an hour, which felt like 3 in my heightened state. There was no relief or comfort, the nurses actually laughed at me when I began to lose my senses due to the constant unrelenting pain. They told me they were underfunded; how? How are you low on money when we get charged $100 for a bandaid.. All I asked for was a heating pad. It was such a humiliating & awful experience, I don't think I'll ever return. They thought it might be kidney stones, I guess we will never know.

I had an accident at work as soon as I arrived at Higgins in Bremen Ga they cam out an help me get out the car and took me straight back to a room and started the process the whole staff were on point with everything I love the team work that they did an I would go back to them again they are alsome
