Every step of service is done with excellence. Setting up an appointment, following up via email, text and calling (I am a forgetful person so I appreciate the multiple mediums of communication), ease of checking in for an appointment, the professionalism from those working the front desk, the care and attention to detail from the dental assistants, hygienists and dentists, the cleanliness and warmth of the lobby—it’s all done with great attention to detail. I’ve been a client for a couple of years now and I always feel very taken care of. I highly recommend this dental office.

Dr. Avery is amazing. I have a chronic illness that isn’t well known but affects my dental health so much. I had to leave my trusted dentist when I moved states & was really nervous. She and every single member of her staff could not have been kinder or more supportive. They were extremely thorough & came up with a dental plan for a lot of work I need that was detailed, planned out for long term success and comfort. I’m so grateful that I found Dr. Avery and her staff.

I have been to this dentist three times but this is my first review. I should have done a review every time I went because this practice has top notch customer service and the level of integrity is beyond anything I could’ve expected for a dentist office. I have had appointments with Dr. Fuller and Dr. Avery and I must say that they are both outstanding. Their staff is always happy and always welcoming. Everyone there makes you feel valued and they make you feel heard. I have such anxiety when I go to the dentist and they have put me at ease every single time. They have exceeded any expectation I could’ve possibly put on their practice. I must say that if I ever have to choose another dentist, it will be hard to top Ideal Dental Decatur. They strive to make sure that you feel as little pain and discomfort as possible. I appreciate that the most since that’s where my anxiety lies. Every time I had a moment of nervousness or my anxiety was reaching its peak, they would stop and check on me, give me a break if I need one and if I felt any pain or discomfort whatsoever, they adjusted the medication and anything else they needed to make sure that I had the least amount of pain and discomfort as possible. This practice is top-notch and I highly recommend to anyone who fears going to the dentist. I feel like I’m visiting family when I go. Thank you Ideal Dental Decatur for taking such good care of me and making sure that I feel valued as a patient from check-in to check out.

Today I had a deep cleaning and fitting for a partial upper and lower . I’ve been to this office in the past and was left very disappointed with the service to the point I thought I’d never return, but decided to give them one more chance . It seems a lot has changed for the better with more skilled staff that really make you feel at ease and explain things clearly with each procedure. The office was even expanded to accommodate more people. I’m looking forward to future visits knowing that I’m in good hands .

I was a first time patient here, I came in for an emergency visit, and I was in excruciating pain. To say that I appreciate Dr Fuller and her team is an understatement. They were able to get me in for a same day appointment, and did not disappoint! I was skeptical that I may be overcharged (due to some other reviews), but that was not the case. Dr. Fuller was compassionate and considerate, and got me in and out with no down time or “fluff”. I can’t say thank you enough. From the time you walk in, til you check out..the ideal dentist team stands by the phrase “how can I make you smile today?”
It was a great experience and I will be back for all future dental needs! 🙂

I usually don't post a lot of reviews, but I just had to this time. This office from the beginning has been awesome. I am so nervous about the dentist and they have always made me feel at ease. They are not trying to just charge you for unnecessary dental work, they really care. I got partials done last week and they were able to scan me for them instead of doing impressions which I LOVED. They are so natural and comfortable. I can't stop smiling!! I would recommend this office to anyone looking for affordable and EXCELLENT dental care. 🙂
