Always late with appointment, feel like cattle, one you get in you can't even have a conversation. Was informed by the nurse after the doctor walked out, you were only allowed to ask 5 questions and if the nurse didn't have them written down, he would not answer them. I am going to seek a new PCP after over 20 years because of the way I am continually being treated.

Recently went to establish care at this clinic. Felt very unheard and glossed over by the Dr I saw. She seemed very much like a know it all. I tried to explain the negative side effects of my meds, proceeded to tell me she’s has “lots of patients at that ssri dose who do just fine”. Well, good for you Doctor, I apologize for being difficult. The clinic itself and staff were satisfactory.

always had time for his patients
My sweet Buddy, who passed away in 2020, never wanted to go see a doctor but with Dr Peterson he would gladly go. I also had my mother start going. Every one I referred to Dr. Peterson had a great experience. I followed him from the Sherwood clinic to St Vincent's and when I read he was coming to Jacksonville I felt I hit the Jackpot, Dr. Peterson will always be my doctor.

I have been a patient of Jacksonville med center my first dr with them was
Dr Waterhouse ..an amazing dr took time with patients really cared then he retired and then met a Dr as amazing and caring Dr Richard Hayes but he just retired now they are horrible no returning calls no pain medication even though I just had ankle reconstruction surgery and waiting on back surgery now Before Dr Richard Hayes left I would have given 10 stars now I give them no stars
Below is my ankle now so I’m twaiting on couch in pain unable to walk or drive so here I lay another day of complete misery and take aspirin with no relief. I will add that they would put me in pain management make me a junkie and dependent on pills when I only need them while waiting on procedure… will check back when I see a different dr praying for a compassionate Dr
Below is my ankle today and not one dr would give me pain medication both the ortho Dr before or after surgery no medication back dr no medication before or after surgery ankle dr told me to take aspirin ?!?!? Look at my foot does it look like aspirin is going to take that pain away? Well I can tell you it does NOTHING I miss Dr Hayes and Dr Waterhouse truly best Dr’s I give them 10 stars

I have been waiting for a PA LETTER from doctor Peterson for 3 MONTHS now, you read that right ! THREE MONTHS so the insurance can approve my thyroid medication. I have called numerous times, left messages, they say they’re going to call you back and never do. The building is falling apart, you have to wait for over a hour to be seen, I don’t recommend this practice to ANYONE! Worst customer service ever and they couldn’t care less about their patients.

EDIT TO ADD: I posted this review yesterday, today they responded and then sent in THE WRONG prescription to my pharmacy. They can’t even keep track of the patient’s needs. I have need a PHYSICIAN AUTHORIZATION from doctor Peterson so the insurance can approve my TIROSINT for three months now! I don’t need a prescription for LEVOTHYROXINE. We have done the same process for a couple years now and still you can’t even bother to read a patient’s file.
