Beware of this office. My mother usually sees Dr. Jeffrey Laman, who is an excellent doctor, but unfortunately, he wasn’t available for her most recent appointment. She urgently needed to be seen and was scheduled with a nurse practitioner instead. My mother was late by just a few minutes to her appointment, and despite explaining her urgent need for care, the office staff refused to accommodate her and sent her away.

When I called the office to address the issue, I requested to speak to the manager. A person identifying herself as Nicole answered and was extremely rude and unprofessional. Instead of resolving the matter, she escalated it unnecessarily. Her behavior became so hostile that I had to end the call.

What followed was even more concerning. Nicole accessed my personal information without authorization, obtained my doctor’s office phone number, and called me directly to tell me that I was no longer a patient of my doctor’s office. This was a blatant violation of my privacy, especially since my doctor’s office is completely separate from my mother’s.

I have filed multiple complaints, including HIPAA violations, against Nicole and the nurse practitioner who refused to see my mother simply because she was five minutes late. Ironically, this is the same office where patients are often made to wait an hour or more for providers. The unprofessionalism and misconduct displayed by this office, its staff, and the nurse practitioner are unacceptable. Both Nicole and the nurse practitioner should be investigated and held accountable for their actions.

Dr Laman is a very caring Dr is concerned for my health and what's best for me, and very knowledgeable! He is compassionate, listens to me and my health concerns and includes me in the decision making process! Messages sent are always addressed promptly also. I am so blessed to have found the BEST PCP!! His staff is also amazing!! I drive 45 minutes to see him, and it's worth every minute! Thank you Dr Laman and staff!!
