When they say America’s favorite dentist, I mean that. Let me start with the fact that my hygienist was waiting on me and not me waiting on them! The entire team was so pleasant and polite. My hygienist was very friendly and knowledgeable. She walked me through every step while cleaning my teeth and even told me what to when cleaning my tongue. I highly recommend them! 10/10. I truly appreciate them throughly explaining the charges!

Yesterday, I experienced one of the best doctor visits in my life at JLM studios! I’m a doctor of chiropractic myself and I can appreciate other doctors who give excellent care. Dr. Jarrett, Ms. Jasmine, and her team did a fantastic job explaining, providing service, and providing care. I appreciated the digital paperwork to knock things out before I got there, the smiles from the different team members, the excellence and expertise in care, and dealing with me, who was nervous before receiving care. I have not only found my Dentist for myself and my future family, but I’ve also found the dentist and team I will be recommending to many people.

Me and my family were being serviced here but this business keep finding random ways to charge us for things that’s convered under our dental insurance. There were multiple instances where we were charged for a dentist that was not in network when the office is in network. Nothing was appropriately explained on how or why we kept being charged either. They just wiped the debt they placed and scheduled us again to be charged for the same thing again. This office lacks effective communication and dentist are no longer consistent and are outside the network due to traveling to work there but not in contract for network. I intentionally didn’t inform them that I’m a doctor myself, so this lack of professionalism as well as the runaround with information and fraudulent charges billed was the last straw. Please beware!

After being a client for about 2 years, I have decided to take my business elsewhere. Every time I go for a cleaning, I’ve had to wait for at least 30 mins or longer after my appointment time.

I scheduled an Invisalign consultation and cleaning. Sat for scans and everything. Never received a follow up about Invisalign so ended up going back to my old orthodontist (who is amazing but wanted to have ortho and dentist in the same office).

During a filling appointment, I had to wait hours and ended up rescheduling. My appointment was at 3. I was seated around 3:20. I received numbing cream that eventually wore off around 4. I saw Dr. Manning who then numbed me again around 4:15. Around 5 pm, I asked about the wait time. I was told that they were working on another patient and they couldn’t give me a time. I asked to be rescheduled since it was about 2 hours after my scheduled appointment time. No apologizes, discounts for the inconvenience or anything. I only rescheduled because I couldn’t get a refund.

My last issue was a consultation and received a call the week prior to my appointment stating it needs to be rescheduled due to Dr Manning being out of the country.

If this place were consistent and respected their clients time, I would continue going. It’s already hard enough to find a trustworthy dentist so having to constantly change my schedule with little to no warning is not just annoying but inconsiderate.

I previously had a good experience here. However, I went for a cleaning today and because my daughter was with me, I was told I could not have it done and children aren’t allowed inside the exam rooms. Something that is not included in any reminders for appointments and I also didn’t see it posted anywhere in the office. I asked why and was told it’s a liability and the Dentist doesn’t allow it. I asked if I could sign a waiver saying I understand whatever risks they perceive a child may face while sitting in the room. I was told no and it’s the dentist license that is at risk. I
have been to multiple dentists’ and doctors’ offices with my daughter and I have never come across this. It excludes many parents who may have no one else to leave their children with and seems quite discriminatory especially for the reason given. If they were primarily immunocompromised patients there, perhaps I could understand children being higher risk for carrying colds etc.

I will be looking for another practice moving forward.

I have been coming to this practice for about 2-3 years, and I have always had a great experience from the receptionist, whether it's when I call or when I arrive in person. All the support staff and Dr. Jarrett and the other dentists are wonderful. Plus, the office smells great and looks fabulous. So, if you are looking for a new dental practice, call for an appointment!

The office atmosphere is very calming and peaceful. I appreciated the professionalism and courtesy. Crystal is an excellent Hygienist. She was extremely knowledgeable and caring. I enjoyed speaking with Dr. Lee about my treatment options. Highly recommend the JLM Dentistry experience!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting JLM Dental Studio for the first time, and it was truly a fantastic experience. As it was my first time at a Black-owned dental practice, I couldn't help but feel an immediate sense of connection and representation that is often lacking in many spaces.

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff at JLM Dental Studio ensured I felt seen and heard throughout the entire visit. The importance of representation cannot be overstated, and it was refreshing to be in an environment where diversity and inclusion were acknowledged and celebrated.

One standout aspect of my visit was the exceptional care the hygienist, Crystal, provided. Her expertise and professionalism were evident, and she went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and understanding throughout the appointment. Crystal's dedication to her work positively impacted my overall experience.

I also had the privilege of being under the care of Dr. Lee at my recent dental appointment, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Dr. Lee's thoroughness and attention to detail stood out from when she reviewed my X-rays. Unlike my past experiences, she took the time to explain each aspect of my oral health and patiently answered all my questions.

What particularly impressed me was Dr. Lee's honesty and integrity. I shared with her a negative experience from a previous dental office where I felt misled about necessary services and costs. Dr. Lee took the initiative to review my information and, surprisedly, informed me that the details I had been provided were inaccurate. She clarified the actual state of my dental health and assured me that the other office had provided misleading information.

I look forward to my next visit to JLM Dental and seeing Crystal and Dr. Lee again. It's clear that this practice values not only the oral health of its patients but also the importance of creating a space where everyone feels valued and represented. Kudos to JLM Dentistry for an outstanding first impression, and I highly recommend this dental practice to anyone seeking quality care in a diverse and inclusive setting.
