Dr. Dierkes is knowledgeable in his field and helped me greatly with my jaw issues, however after working with him for almost 4 years I would not recommend his office to anyone. The office management is completely dysfunctional. Dr. Dierkes's wife is supposed to be the office manager and the service is definitely sub par for the prices they expect you to pay. If you notice the reviews she actually takes the time to write a paragraph long responses to negative reviews. If that's not stupid than I don't know what is. This office never answers the phone, huge delays with returning any calls, inconsistent office hours etc. There is always justification and excuse for everything - this week they are on vacation, next week they are opened half day Tuesday and half day Wednesday, next week they are moving,etc. No consistency and very narrow thinking.

Dr. Dierkes is a brilliant Doctor! He is very very knowledgeable about TMJ and I chose him after inteviewing multiple TMJ specialists. He found the root cause and came up with a solution. And my case was a bit complicated. He takes a wholistic approach and I love that! He really cares about his patients and took his time with me.
He also discovered another cause of a seroius health issue and he referred me out toan excellent specialist.During the course of my treatment he realized I had a severe sinus infection that was caused from mold toxicity. So he not only helped me with TMJ, but helped me with that situation as well and I would not have known the cause if it hadn't been for him. My case was more complicated so he had a team of professionals assist me who were all excellent.

Ellen is also great and has spent a lot of time helping me out to really get the holistic care I need to get my health on track. TMJD pain is very underrated and he was the only individual who could help me reduce pain.

Dr. Dierkes was my orthodontist when I was a teenager. Now I have an 8 year old that I drive all the way across town for appointments to see Dr. D. There's no one else I'd let put braces on my kid. Some people tell me it's too early for my son to have braces, but Dr. D takes to time to explain why it's important to start young. He genuinely cares about his patients well being in more ways than just straight teeth.

My son has a narrow mouth, so as his baby teeth were falling out, there wasn't enough room for the adult teeth to come in. Dr. D's is helping us, not only widen his mouth and straighten his teeth , but also figure out what is causing the narrow mouth to begin with and how to correct it holistically.

I highly recommend Dr. Dierkes for orthodontics and especially TMJ solutions. Dr. Dierkes has been treating my daughter for TMJ for the last 2 years. I wish we had known about him before my daughter's first set of braces (which straightened her teeth, but caused her jaw to be dislocated). He is saving my daughter from having to undergo major surgery!!
You can tell he truly cares about his patients with his friendly and caring manner. He has a holistic approach to orthodontics and treats the cause of your problem rather than just the symptoms. He is constantly learning about new methods of treatment for his patients.
It has been difficult for my daughter wearing braces for a second time and in high school when teens are so concerned about their appearance. He's perfect with her, encouraging her to follow the program without being preachy.
His staff is also wonderful to work with, making the experience much more pleasant.
