I had great care from Dr. Balkaran for my plantar fascitis, and after three visits, I've had success! For three years I've suffered and Dr. Balkaran is the second podiatrist to treat my symptoms. She was referred to me by my cardiologist, Dr. Lesmes, and was very attentive and professional. I want to give 5 stars to her assistant, Nichole, who always had a smile & put me at ease. Wonderful experience and successful.

Dr. Balkaran and her entire crew are lost, her & the staff are blind.Due to multiple visits my foot has become infected you are across the street from one of the best hospitals and you are not allowed to go there? I am out of 500 from purchasing my own supplies due to negligence of her staff not sending the appropriate supplies ever and I feel it's a money game she is a disappointed from my first appointment she has no time for her patients and phone calls are never returned until days later or never returned and expect the patient to do their work. Office staff all need to be fired they are so incompetent I will never go back there she is on a eastern time zone but they are working on a central time zone. This should never happen physcians up here wants to charge your insurance but don't want to their jobs. And they get new offices but don't have privilege at the hospital that's not a good situation. No more respect what a waste.

One star is too high a rating. I was kept waiting for an hour and 45 minutes and received no apology from this provider. She was rude, dismissive, unprofessional, clearly in a rush, and possessed of the worst "bedside manner" I've ever encountered. She listed some options but failed to offer a recommendation for the healing of an injury I'd suffered. A staff member—never once looking at me, speaking not one word to me, offering no explanation, and uttering no request for permission— lifted the examination table, raised my pant leg, and applied a liquid and a piece of tape to my toe while I looked at her in disbelief. I came away from this experience so emptied of confidence in this provider and her staff, that I immediately made an appointment with a practice in a competing health system where, at every step, the difference in the level of professionalism and care was markedly superior.

I went to Balkaran because my mother sees her and likes her. I however had a bad experience. My appointment was for 10:45.told to arrive 20 mins early so I did. At 11 I was taken to a room and the very nice nurse took vitals and asked some questions. Dr did not make it in to see me until 11:45. An hour late. Then she was so rushed because they close for lunch at 12! She was curt and short. Did not talk to me but made comments under her breath and typed the WHOLE time she was with me. Didn't ask me to walk to show her issues...wrote I refused an $80 brace(because I could get online for $20) and barely covered what to do for treatment. She was not professional in my opinion and I won't be going back. Two stars because her staff was super friendly...but her bedside manner is lacking.

I loved the doctor and her soft spoken manner. Very knowledgeable The office is beautiful and friendly staff. The waiting time is a little more than I expected so allow extra time, She must be good, lots of people waiting to see her.

I was most pleased by my first visit with DR.Balkaran. Her office staff were very nice and seemed very professional. The Dr. was wonderful. She helped me, without putting it off to a later date, as so many doctors do.
