We like Dr J and he’s got a good bedside manner!
However, we won’t be returning and it’s due to the incompetence of his staff. We explained to him that no one answers the phone or returns important calls. I complained to the rude man at the front desk today about NEEDING to call me back he said he doesn’t get his messages, off the phone on his desk until later (or when he feels like it). It was noon at that time and he was not busy from what we saw. Due to his incompetence we wasted all morning. So we made an unnecessary trip of one hour round trip. The appointment we had last month was never input to their computer either. We waited in the X-ray room until they fit us in. I will give Paige 4 stars. She’s alone there and treats patients very well. They need an office manager!!
As we left the very rude front desk person and had a conversation with him, he never said he was sorry about the situation and gave us a very bad facial expression, like who did we think we were being unhappy with him!. The office is small and I understand being short staffed but it’s ridiculous at this point and we won’t return unfortunately. Another elderly gentleman came in while we waited, for his own appointment. He was told he had no appointment!! This was his second time being told he had no appointment. He had an appointment card with the right day and time!!!!!

Dr. Jachimiak has a wonderful bedside manner & is welcoming, a good listener, and answered all my questions. HOWEVER. His medical assistant doesn't respond to e-mail (she did, until she didn't) - I received a bill from APS, the medical lab Jachimiak sends nail samples to, *after* I had already paid the company months before. My insurance company has told me that I don't owe anything due to the fact that the claim was filed so far after the date of service. Bottom line - expect to see multiple bills roll in to your mailbox after visiting Dr. Jachimiak. Don't expect to be able to ask questions about billing after the fact. Most frustrating is that out of three phone calls I made directly to Jachimiak's office to try and understand why I was receiving another lab bill months after paying the first lab bill, only one call was answered, and then the person on the other end was clueless and just took a message. Ultimately, Jachimiak's office pawned me off to APS, telling me to take my concerns up with them. This lack of customer service/billing transparency on the office's part completely erases the care Jachimiak showed at actual visit. He's obviously not concerned with what happens to you afterwards. Or any bothersome billing details. I will NOT be returning for future care. Please note that not only did I speak to APS/Jachimiak's lab on the phone to try and understand second billing wave, I first spoke to the billing service Jachimiak uses for his practice when trying to reach Jachimiak's office by telephone (after e-mail to medical assistant was ignored). The billing office couldn't answer my questions but did notify Jachimiak's office that I had concerns about the second bill that showed up four months later. Who then told me to call APS. You can see the hamster wheel turning, right?

I've been seeing Dr. Jachimiak for outdoor-activity-related injuries, including three surgeries, for as long as his practice has been open. He is careful and accurate with his diagnoses, and all treatments have resolved my issues. I particularly like the way he takes time to explain--in understandable detail--what he is doing. I've never felt rushed during an appointment.

Dr put in a new joint in my left big toe. The result, the toe is about a half inch shorter and I can no longer hike because of the pain. Then I get an email that said I am not a patient of his, they have no record of my. So I went to his web and sure enough the photo of the building is where I went for my appointments. So I guess his record keeping is as bad as his surgery. And by the way I agree t hat he was kind, fun and that his staff were rude and untrained. If you want him to do surgery after you read this, good luck

I've gone to Dr J for several years now. First for orthotics, and most recently when I broke my ankle. He gave me my options: 1. Use a bone stimulator and try and heal it without surgery. 2. ORIF Surgery (plate, screws and other gadgets). We tried to get insurance (UHC) to approve the bone stim, and they denied it. He then wrote a written appeal and tried to do a peer to peer with their doc and they still denied it. I appreciated his perseverance, but we were then relegated to surgery. He explained everything, and the surgery was a success. 8 weeks later and I'm healing well. Great staff as well!

My wife has been a patient of Dr. J for a couple of years. She had surgery and I will be having surgery soon. He is patient, very communicative and knowledgeable. He also is very friendly and has a great sense of humor.

We highly recommend Dr. J

Dr Jachimiak helped me with bunions. He did a fabulous job. He paid a lot of attention to the orientation of the big toes. This resulted in relieving the pain some arthritis was causing at the base of one toe. It is now eight years later and I'm doing well. Yay! Thank you Dr. Jachimiak!
