Dr. Lane is a very knowledgeable doctor in my experience. He helped me with both of my shoulders and proved that this was one of his specialties. He took as much time as I needed to explain things and did not rushed me to surgery. I would definitely recommend him to all of my friends.

Dr. Lane is a professional through and through. I've delt with several orthopedic surgeons over the years and have found Dr. Lane to be sympathetic and caring for his patients. He also has a top notch staff who really take the time to help and are always available to assist.

Thursday, February 29, 1996, I slingshotted myself in off a ladder and crushed my right heal in Pacific Beach. After being transported to the hospital by ambulance Dr. Lane was called in to check me out. After a couple of weeks to give time for the swelling to go down my surgery was scheduled on March 13, 1996, two days after my 35th birthday. Dr. Lane put a plate and multiple screws in my foot to put my heel back together. I remember asking him, after the surgery and seeing an xray ot my foot, how many screws he put in my foot and he replied, "I stopped counting".

My follow-up care which lasted approximately a year and a half was handled very well by Dr. Lane and his staff. Dr. Lane took great care in not letting me put weight on it for about 8 months so as to not cause damage to my heel and then eased me into full weight on it which took a few more months. Between Dr. Lane and my Physical Therapist I had very little problems in my recovery.

Flash forward 22 years, I am walking almost normally and a few years ago visited a orthopedic surgeon here in the Phoenix area to see if there was anything he could do to give me a totally full range of movement. He took xrays and an MRI. When I followed up with him he said he could not see any signs of the screws and that my heel looked fully intact as if nothing had ever happened to it. He said he would not recommend any type of a procedure and that my range of movement was slightly less than perfect.

The only time I feel any discomfort is when I've been on my feet for most of the day. After a day like that it might take a day of taking it easy to be ready to go at it again. I have even hiked an 8-10 hour hike into the Grand Canyon to the Havasupai Indian Reservation, completed a Missions project and spent a day playing in the waters of Havasu Falls one of the most beautiful places on earth.

It might have taken 22 years but thank you Dr. Lane and staff. Hopefully I said thank you back then but just wanted to do so again.

I met Dr. Lane in 1996 when My company sent me to him for my right shoulder I was is a lot of pain. I had injured it 3 years earlier at work but just had a ache. Dr. Lane scheduled surgery for bone spurs but when he got in He saw a massive rotator cuff tear. I was impressed with the repair and how fast I healed I was told to be easy with my shoulder at work but I just went full bore well it retore and I had to have 2 more surgeries to complete the attachment because the tendon was frayed like spaghetti. Today 2017 after all the ecellent treatment my shoulder is great. I get a little arthritis when it rains but other than that I can raise it almost straight over my Head.

Dr. Lane was unprofessional and inappropriate. My wrist is broken and instead he spent more time touching my legs and complimenting my eyes. I would not recommend especially if you have kids.

Dr. Lane was very kind to me and seemed to be very interested in the best interest of his patients and not motivated by money. His office is very busy, so there can be a wait, but the quality of his care is worth it.

They are overbooked and just don't care. Delayed the receipt of my hand and wrist braces by MONTHS. I started calling every week, and it's impossible to get the assistant responsible on the phone for even 5 minutes!
