Here with my daughter who is in her 10th pregnancy. She’s dilated to a 2. She’s been having contractions ALL NIGHT. He has a c-section schedule for the 22nd. She’s 37 weeks pregnant and goes super fast when she gets further dilated. She had one baby in the hospital while she was sleeping. The doc came in and found the baby between her legs. This man refuses to go ahead and do the c-section. We live an hour and a half away. That’s a long drive with a high risk “geriatric “ pregnancy. She’s 35. He simply is arrogant and doesn’t care about his patients needs or wishes. I’m a nurse for 32 years, so he better mind his p’s and q’s. He’s rude. Don’t go here. The nurses at this hospital have been amazing.

Update: my daughter ended up having an emergency delivery in our small town which is 3 minutes from us. From the time she left my house to the time the baby was born was 14 minutes. We told him. So then when she went for her scheduled tubal, he refused to do it because he forgot to put her on the surgery rotation. So he gave her a birth control implant and said you’re good for 5 years. This guy is a joke.

This man is rude, unprofessional, and unethical. He'll be lucky if the only thing I do is write a poor review. Never in my life have I been treated so poorly and uncompassionatly. If I could give a negative start review, I would in a heartbeat!

I WISH I could give a negative star review. Elkins
is the most insensitive, nasty, rude man I've ever heard of. He is trying to cause problems with my friends pregnancy, going as far as telling her he was going to make her go get an abortion without even checking for a heartbeat. The only reason my friend found out the baby was fine is because a nurse checked for a heartbeat and told her things looked good and the heartbeat was there. Please don't see this doctor or go to this hospital, go literally anywhere else.

All the other reviews pretty much say it all. Absolutely don't come here. I have so many things that I could say but I'm not going to say them all. Too many to list. Drive anywhere else for care even if it is a long drive. Elkins seems to get annoyed whenever you ask questions and doesn't seem to care much about your feelings or input on your care. Doesn't take your pains or concerns seriously. Spends less than a minute in the room with you most times, seriously. Asked for a referral early in my pregnancy to a blood specialist as I have blood condition affecting my pregnancy and a hematologists input could be helpful. Was told by the doctor "yeah, we're not gonna do that." I tried to stick it out with Elkins until the end of my pregnancy. I tried. Now, last minute at 35 weeks pregnant I made the decision and switched to a different doctor in little rock.

Wish I could give a negative star Worst experience I've ever had. I'm overweight and that's ALL he saw. Not once did he go over why I was there. I drove 2 hrs to have this waste of time appointment. I highly DON'T recommend. I got up and stopped my pap because I was so upset with him mentioning just how big I am. This wasn't a weight appointment, supposed to be a hysterectomy consult. Shot that idea down as soon as he saw me. Never again.

This "doctor" will not ask you to please move into a position so the exam can continue. No he will grab you by the legs forcibly pull and push youth you without warning then do the exam with telling what's about to happen. My wife is now home and crying.

The nursing staff were all very helpful and friendly! Dr. Elkins was quick and to the point. He didn't seem very knowledgeable when performing the ultrasound. But overall we were satisfied with our appointment and pleased to know we will have a healthy baby come May!

He had Absolutely no human compassion at all. He was Very manipulative and rude. He was disrespectful to me and my family. He did not respect my body nor treat me with any kind of sympathy. He will not respect a birth plan and lie to you about going through with one. He almost killed me and my baby. He instructed the nurses they'd lose their job if they birthed my baby, already holding her in for an hour, he was nowhere to be found but was there earlier to assault my body and go against my rights(those details will upset anybody who reads this).i was forced drugs and an epidural and held my baby in with her head almost out for about three hours. The nurses made me sit upright and on my baby's head and refused me any water. I can go on about this horrible doctor but just trust me you do not want him touching you or your newborn child.
