I had a procedure a year ago. Not bad, but the fact they continued trying to push vaccines on me was too much. The intake nurses a few times. Then the doctor introduced himself along with the anesthesiologist. The doctor began asking me. I politely declined over and over again. Then when I'm about to be put under, he starts again . I say no. Then starts explaining about vaccines and how wonderful they are and asked me again, right before my lights went out ,No! I had a sour looking doctor about to examine me while I went under. Not a good feeling . Nice waiting room, unfortunately your spouse cannot wait there.. Must go outside,?

Had the chance to visit here before all the social distancing and self-isolation. Needed meds but couldn't get them through mail-order. Parking was a breeze, there was no line, no waiting. The only downside, they didn't have enough of the meds prescribed to me. The pharmacist was kind enough to call ahead to KP Baldwin for me to just line up for pick-up.
My second visit was for a lab draw. I didn't have an appointment, but I was seen in under 5 minutes. That is including check-in. The actual blood draw was fast and painless too. As usual parking was phenomenal. No headache at all. I'll be sure to have my next blood draws here.
Today, I found out they do COVID testing too! That’s super. Although it’s not drive through, it was a lot faster than going through the BP Kaiser for COVID testing. I’ve waited 30 minutes to 1 hour ove there. Here at this facility, with check in, I was done in under 10 minutes. And I can’t stress enough about the super abundant and easily available parking!

Foremost -so grateful to Dr Peng Lei for restoring my right eye vision. He’s very meticulous as well as transparent in explaining diagnosis , treatment options , risks and benefits of surgery and my eye condition itself. It’s amazing that he did three surgical procedures in one eye , same day - namely cataract surgery (with iol lens) , iStent and goniosynechiolysis .

Also today , I had office visit with Dr Susan A Ung to update my prescription glasses. Dr Ung is such a compassionate eye doctor. Same feedback goes to nurse Nicole Islas , they’re genuinely caring medical staff , Eye Doctor/Specialist . I feel truly blessed to have received care from them -

Had to pick up my partner after a procedure they said to come in 20 min and I came 40 min later since I live far and Iv been sitting waiting in the 90 degree heat for the last HOUR! wasting my gas with my AC on in my car.. hospitals never really care about your time or money and yet it’s still disappointing. This is specifically for the gastrointestinal department but I’m sure all are as inconsiderate.

I really like this facility. I had a problem with a nurse who did not listen to me when I told her I had a concussion (I was not being seen for the concussion), and that I use the wrong words for things. Apparently I said something to offend her. She came over and was about two inches from my face and spoke to me like I was a child. Medical people have to remember that they are treating the whole person and there are other things that happen to their patients that they need to hear. She should have told me what I had said and I would have apologized, I do not remember because when word soup is flowing, I have know idea what the words are. If a medical professional cannot deal with people who have temporary cognitive issues, then they should leave the medical profession.

This office is clean, spacious, and well designed. All other offices should be modeled after this one. We come here for pediatric Opthamology and have had nothing but good experiences with the nurses and Doctors. Just a note that since this office is primarily for Opthamology, their pharmacy doesn’t have all drugs. If you place a regular pharmacy order there, it will most likely be cancelled. Just a heads up!

Maria Gomez started my positive experience for the morning on a great note. She greeted me assisted with my check in above and beyond what I'm accustomed to. My ophthalmologist team led by Michelle did awesome. I did a impromptu x-ray and I was immediately taken care of by Lester and his co-workers. I wanted to let everyone know this facility was awesome collectively and most importantly UNION YES! THESE WORKERS NEED TO BE ACKNOWLEDGED. THANK YOU

Laboratory lady is very disrespectful for today September 12, 2023 at 9:08am! Clearly the the two older ladies are going in for labs because their name was on the screen but mrs lab lady was saying they shouldn’t be there. The ladies didn’t speak English but the the lady was telling the rudely to go outside because she probably thought they don’t belong there for some reason! I was just dropping off some lab orders and she was being a rude lady! Next time ask before you go off Lady in the back of labs !
