Save yourself the trouble and avoid this clinic if you value timely responses, follow-ups, or helpful advice for your medical concerns. Since 2020, my experiences have been consistently disappointing, and I’ve wasted enough time with this office (shame on me). The service has been subpar at best, but Dr. Grille was the only doctor I found taking new patients at the height of COVID after I moved to Tampa for a job, so I gave her office a lot of grace for a while. It would be nice if the doctor was more prepared for the appointment. Having to remind the doctor that this is a follow-up visit from my original appointment a few weeks back is very unnerving. MyChart is practically useless with this team, often taking several weeks to get a reply. Good luck dealing with this office. Their handling of patient care is deplorable! I write this review as I am currently on hold. I have been waiting on a return call since 9:30 am. After realizing I was not getting this call, I called the office again at 4:20, and it is now 5:07, and the office closes at 5:00. One last thing, I actually contacted my pulmonologist at 3:21 with the same inquiry and they returned my call at 4:16. They asked if I had contacted my primary care, after sharing that I had, they provided some feedback and will touch base again tomorrow. They also want to know what my primary care has to say. At this point I would like to know as well.

I liked her bedside manner& chose her for my new PCP. Like office& staff,and location.

I liked her at first because she listened to me and my concerns and did not rush me. Things fell apart when I had her ordered lab work done on 4/11/24, and I’ve still yet to hear from her regarding my hgba1c being TWICE the normal range. I’ve called multiple times and here we are almost 2 months later with no contact from her regarding my new diabetes diagnosis. The only reason I caught this was because Quest lets you access your results. Thank god for that or I’d probably be in diabetic ketoacidosis by now, which could be deadly if not treated btw. I’m having blood sugar readings of 300 in the mornings and she can’t even return a call. I understand things fall through the cracks, but I have called her office 4 times with nothing- not even a call from her MA. I’m not even sure she has gotten the messages quite frankly- there’s no way a doctor could ignore a patient at risk of DKA 4 times, right? There has to be an issue somewhere. Needless to say, I’ve switched primaries and will get treatment I need next week. This is negligent and bordering on malpractice. She should be ashamed.

Edit: STILL no call from Dr Grill or her staff, but less than 24 hours after writing this review I miraculously get a referral to be shoved off to a pharmacist for treatment. You’re telling me an internist cannot manage diabetes? Wild. And this pharmacist I was shoved off on reached out through the portal. Didn’t call me. What if I didn’t have access to the portal? All around a joke

Dr Grill is wonderful! Such a warm personality is rare these days. She spent time with me and listened carefully to my concerns. She explained results thoroughly. She provided great resources and vast knowledge of the area which is super when you're new around here. Her staff staff is friendly and efficient. I'm very happy to have her as my doctor.

The Tamp General clinic is run very well. Check in was a breeze and I didn't have to wait.

My first visit with Dr Grill was excellent. She spent a good amount of time reviewing my records and talking with me. I believe Dr. Grill was listening and wants to make sure she doesn't miss anything.

I have found my primary care doctor!

Dr Grill is one of those rare doctors who takes time and actually listens to patients. I trust my health in her care.
My low rating is because the office staff has yet to correct two wrongly coded bloodwork orders (once from Feb 2021 and a second time Feb 2022). I’ve spoken to numerous office staff there over the two years, provided the correct corse of action Quest needs to correct this (to refund me and to stop a collections notice), and still the office has not helped. It’s frustrating and disappointing.

I'll start with the staff. I couldn't be more pleased. They are very nice, friendly, while at the same time professional. As for Dr. Grill herself, she is the best primary care physician I've ever had. Dr Grill has a way of making you feel as if you are her only patient. Dr Grill asks the right questions, listens to what you have to say. Then she goes to work on taking care of you. Plus she is a warm and caring person.
If you are looking for the best PCP, Dr Grill is for you.

Went to Dr. Grill’s office for a new patient appointment. Was greeted by super friendly staff and the waiting area was clean and comfortable.

My impression of Dr. Grill, is that she is a highly competent and caring physician. I felt my health was her number one concern during my appointment. My appointment was not rushed and I felt relaxed. I am very pleased that she is my physician.
