I can’t say enough good things about Kinetic Edge. It’s bright, it’s clean, the people there are friendly and you don’t have to wait a month for an appointment. I was able to get an appointment immediately for evaluation at Kinetic Edge. Aimee set me up with 2 x per week physical therapy appointments for 4 weeks. Before the end of 3 weeks I was no longer needing medication for sciatic pain. Aimee worked with me on a variety of exercises which I am still doing at home today and I am still pain free. Aimee is intelligent, professional, and helpful. She cares about her clients and works with them to get better and feel well. Thank you Aimee, thank you Kinetic Edge!

Kinetic Edge has worked with me on therapy after both of my knee replacements and they are AWESOME !!! Tim Vander Wilt has been my primary therapist, he is extremely easy to work with, makes you feel comfortable as you go thru the process, and is very patient.
All individuals in this clinic are top notch, and I would encourage those in need of physical therapy to trust the specialists here, they will not disappoint. Upon completion, you will be happy you chose them, and consider them valued friends.

I went to Kinetic Edge for physical therapy dealing with a severe ankle sprain. I had the BEST experience with them, and I cannot recommend them enough. The employees are very professional and knowledgeable. They provide the best care with fast results and alternative ways to promote the healing and recovery of an injury or problem. The employees were also very personable and understanding, no matter the circumstances. They always put their clients first, and this is exemplified through their daily business. The facility was very accessible, spacious, and clean. It offered a wide variety of up-to-date equipment to help promote a quick and effective recovery. The appointment scheduling at Kinetic Edge was very easy and flexible to best suit the individual’s particular schedule, which was essential for me as a college student. Overall, I highly recommend Kinetic Edge for all of your physical therapy needs!!! They are the best in town!!!!

Kinetic Edge in Ames has helped me multiple times in my life. From long term ankle injuries and surgery, to torn hamstrings, Kinetic Edge has helped me recover each time. I have been able to return to competitive sports after sessions with specifically Tim. But every therapist there is equipped and great! Each session is full of fun, laughter, and lots of help. I have always seen loads of progress in short amounts of time. They make you feel so comfortable and welcome right when you walk through the door. I would 100% recommend this office to anyone who needs physical therapy.

I have been going to Kinetic Edge for a little over 1 month. It was recommended to me by a fellow client of theirs when I was told I needed to go back to physical therapy AGAIN. I can say I was less than thrilled about the prospect as I haven't had great experience or success at 2 other places in town. I honestly didn't know Kinetic Edge existed but once I called and found out they accepted my insurance we were in business. I was able to get right in to an appointment that fit my schedule nicely and I didn't have to wait weeks just to get started with the intake like I have with other places. I have been working specifically with Tim who has a great personality and we clicked right away which is a huge motivator for me personally. I love the environment of the whole place. Everyone gets along and the banter is hilarious. I also really feel like everyone, and not just Tim, seems to have a genuine interest in my progress and success. When I started I was battling arthritis pain in my back and knees and my goal was pain relief in order to be able to better workout, continue my weightloss journey, and hopefully not be looking and a lifetime of steroid injections and other pain reduction techniques. In just one month we have done incredible work on strengthening my core and hips and I have gained muscle and stability and my pain has gone down significantly. I can do exercises now that there was no way I could do a month ago. I have done a lot of the work but if it weren't for Tim and the whole Kinetic edge team I would not have gotten this far in such a short time. I have a long way to go still but I can honestly say that I am already feeling as if I am in the best shape of my life and I hope to continue that work with Kinetic Edge!

I have been going to Kinetic Edge for about 8 months following two hip surgeries. I have found the staff to be extremely fun, warm, and personable. Of course, they are well-trained and know what they're going, but above that, they make going to PT more than just an arduous step in the recovery process. I would highly recommend Kinetic Edge and its staff.
