La Petite has improved a lot within the last few months. My son is thriving so much in his early preschool classes. The teachers Ms. Meesha, Ms. Amanda, and Ms. Lexus truly have a calling for kids and are so intentional about making an impact in their education. My son along with the other kids can sometimes have challenging days. A lot of times, teachers try to make the kids accommodate them to make their jobs easier, but not these 3 ladies! They adjust and adapt to each kid individually to meet them where they are. Thank you ladies!

Only giving 4 stars because that’s just my child’s class. I don’t know much about the other classrooms and teachers.

I could not be happier with the changes happening at my daughter's school. I am beyond elated with the new management that has come in and ensured the structure and curriculum are up to the standards you expect out of La Petite. My daughter is in the 2yr old classroom and the educational program is improving her vocabulary every day. It excites me as a parent to see her learning and enjoying her class. Thank you for ensuring my child is happy because it makes one happy momma! Keep up the great work!

It’s been roughly two years since my son was at La Petite. This morning I was thinking back on my son’s experiences with daycares in the area. Because we have this “experience” and we have had time to let our emotions settle from different things that have happened, I thought it is a good time to leave my thoughts on here and give my praise to the team at La Petite. When my first son was born, we enrolled him in what we thought was the “best” PTC area daycare. We didn’t really visit around because this one was so convenient to the house and everything seemed wonderful the one time we stopped by.

For the two weeks my son was here (which was not La Petite), things were never good. Among the things that happened: He had an unclean bottom every day (unwiped feces under his scrodum being the most common). Once I found crying in a crib with no other students or teachers in the room. Once a staff member fed him cold milk right in front of me after I told her it just needs heated. She told me that she wasn’t on the clock yet, but okay, she’ll take him. They also once fed him someone else’s milk. After two weeks, I was scarred, and we were done.

Then, when he turned one, I visited all of the area daycares, and we enrolled him in La Petite. The teachers and staff were amazing, and always happy and smiling. As soon as you walk in EVERY DAY, you are greeted with smiles from EVERY ONE. The teachers always gave me feedback. The director Mary and all of the front office staff are wonderful. Ms. Lily is so caring to the little ones and works at teaching them at such an early age. The teachers were organized, fun, and had top-notch curriculum, which was ACTUALLY used. Everything stayed clean, my son was learning so much, and they gave me constant feedback on how he was doing. When he had any behavior problems, they told me and would talk about how it was handled at the school and ways it could be addressed at home. (My son never did anything serious, but would do things such as stand up on the chairs, which we realized he was doing at home and we had encouraged it with playing on bean bags.). The classroom sizes and teacher/student ratios were great.

When he turned two, we pulled him out because I had a second son and we were considering letting me stay home. There were never any negative reasons against La Petite that caused us to leave. After a year, I got a “can’t turn down” offer from my employer to come back full time. So, we decided to enroll both boys in what we thought was the newest “latest and greatest” daycare near us (which was not La Petite). Well, things were not so great. My son was so advanced from having nannies teach him for a year, he was bored. The school didn’t really have any curriculum and the turn-over rate with teachers was so high. In the six months my sons were there, my oldest son had six different teachers. Some were good and some were terrible. My biggest issues were the demeanor of the staff, especially the director. I missed the smiling faces of La Petite. And any time my son had any issues (which I think was related to their lack of structure and his boredom), I would get a phone call from the director that was nothing more than her complaining about my child. When my son did finally have good teachers that were “real teachers with real experience”, they said he was doing great. When he had a teacher that had curriculum in the classroom, he did great. He stayed busy, and he was learning. We were already on the fence about leaving, but when we found out she was leaving the school after only about a month, that was it for us. There were also larger class sizes, and there wasn’t that one-on-one attention that La Petite offered.

I cannot express enough how great La Petite is in comparison to the two other schools we have used. We love everyone there!

My daughter attended this school for a year and a half before we had to move. From the director to all the teachers...we loved them all. They were AMAZING!

Why do you abuse kids? Why don’t you teach them anything? I’ve several family members had to remove their kids from La petite Academy because they get treated horribly and learn nothing! This daycare is literally made for white kids only! They only ones that get treated right.

Our 2 year old son was left in a bathroom for an hour because he couldn’t dress himself. Also we witnessed his teacher pulling him up and around the room by one arm multiple times.

Called inquiring about availability. Ms Kesha hung up and upon immediately returning the call (assuming she did this by accident) she sent me to voicemail after 2 rings)
