I got breast implants over 13 years ago in Atlanta. Over the last year, I realized that my body was reacting adversely and that I was experiencing Breast Implant Illness and had been for years. When looking for a local plastic surgeon, I wanted to make sure I found someone who actually believed my concerns and believed that this is a real thing that some patients suffer. I chose Dr. Lugo and have been so pleased with the experience. I had explant surgery and a breast lift and zero regrets! While the surgery is painful, I am a little less than 1 month out and already feel so much better! My inflammation is decreasing dramatically (down 7 lbs post surgery) and my chronic sinusitis is starting to clear up. The surgery itself went flawlessly, and I have had 3 checkup appointments and multiple check-ins from Dr. Lugo herself. My breasts look fantastic and are healing up well. Very satisfied with my experience and would highly recommend!

Amazing experience from the start! Everyone in the office is so kind and always smiling. They responded to me right away when I contacted them for a consultation. They make you feel comfortable during all visits. I really appreciate how straight forward Dr. Lugo is - she’s honest about what you should expect and tells you what procedure she recommends and why. She’s also direct about her expectations of you after the procedure - she really wants to make sure things are clear so you can heal well and have the best outcome possible. I honestly couldn’t be happier with my experience with Dr. Lugo and her team for my BA! Choosing a female surgeon was super important to me, and Dr. Lugo’s friendly and caring style immediately made me feel comfortable. She really paid attention to detail and was genuinely interested in what I wanted, which gave me a lot of confidence. I recently had a tummy tuck with Dr. Lugo and I cannot say enough good things about her and her staff! They made me feel so comfortable and well taken care from the moment I walked in the door. Dr. Lugo’s care was top notch! After my surgery she was available via her personal cell phone at any moment I need her or had a question, she was right there for me. Her staff was also so amazing, any question I had they were able to help right away and were always so nice and professional. If I could give Dr. Lugo 10 stars I would! To say I didn’t expect to fall in love with the office staff, nurses, and Dr Lugo is an understatement. I wasn’t prepared for what I was walking into. They are the nicest, most caring, knowledgeable , never change… meet you with a smile every time!!! I have NEVER met a Dr that is all about the patient!!! She really is all about making sure you understand what she is going to do, what to expect, and that you can get her day or night if you need her!!!
