Sent me away because I had Covid. I thought doctors were there to help you get better. I didn’t know they were there to send you away when you’re sick. Freaking ridiculous. I waited over a month for the appointment. I had my mask on and everything! Sooooo frustrating!

When I visit Dr Carter I feel as if she doesn't care just pushes me off on referrals that my insurance doesn't cover. I've been waiting on a medication to be filled for almost 2 months. I've called and called and have gotten no where. The staff is rude. I feel as if the nurses that receive my calls just don't care. I even wonder if the doctor is informed of my requests or issues. I have a T4 injury and it's almost impossible for me to make it to the appointments. But I make it somehow. I feel as if she doesn't listen or even care at all. I'm sure she is aware of the way her office is being ran and still nothing changes. I'm looking for a new doctor right now. Do not go to Dr Carter

Dr. Margaret F. Carter and her nurse diligently sent the necessary information to Silverscript Choice PDP to continue my Prior Authorization into year 2025. Silverscript spokesperson said she was on top of all communications with Silverscript. Now I can get plenty of sleep at night. Thanks Dr. Carter and her friendly nurse

I went to Dr. Carter and she was horrible at managing my health. Fortunately, I found another doctor who worked wonders. My wife goes to Margaret Carter’s nurse practitioner. My wife has a terrible time getting her meds refilled. She calls a week ahead of time and they still do not call in the meds and/or call in the wrong medication. Right now, my wife is out of her medication and it is the holiday weekend. Horrible health care!

I LOVE Dr. Carter, she is so down to earth and really takes the time to listen. I have never had a visit, where I was leaving with unanswered questions and I am able to call and discuss any issues with her, at any time. Overall, I appreciate her steps to return calls to me and speak personally to me, in reference to issues.

I like Dr. Carter very much but the problem that I have is The upfront staff. I liked it way better when she wasn’t with the hospital and her husband ran up front. At first they change the number it was hard making appointments finally got that figured out but the problem that I have mainly is prescriptions. If I need a prescription refill they tell you to tell your pharmacy then my pharmacy tells me I need to talk to them and I just get bounced back-and-forth. I need a new prescription faxed over I called them several times leave voicemails they say they never get it they say they never see when I called so I’ll wait on the phone to talk to them they said will take care of it now and it doesn’t get done. I am honestly thinking about finding another doctor not because of her personally just because of her staff.

Docter Carter has been my primary docter for over 12 years . She is caring , professional , and very thorough in medical care . I even moved out of the area but still continue to drive to see her . She is the best primary care physician on Saint Simons.
