I first got braces in 2008 and loved the results! My bottom teeth recently shifted a bit so I went in to see if there was anything the Marin Ortho team could do. They were so fantastic and set me up with invisalign right away. My teeth are now looking perfect again! Dr. Gorton and Schmohl are super professional, friendly, and do a fantastic job. I would recommend to anyone looking to improve their smile!

I am a pediatric dental assistant and Marin Ortho is the top office we refer our patients to. Orthodontics is so much more than just braces for crooked teeth these days and their knowledge of advanced airway issues is top tier! I took my step daughter here after attending a lecture Dr. Gorton gave about airway concerns in children. She taught me that taking a child in for evaluation before age 7 can be life changing, and for us it was. My step daughter had a very serious thumb sucking habit on top of a severely crowded mouth. She snored and slept with her mouth open every night and never seemed to be well rested. In just a few months they encouraged her to stop her habit and placed an expander that instantly corrected some of these concerns. She no longer snores, is sleeping better and doing better in school and is now very excited to start her Invisalign treatment. This office has taught me that early age orthodontic intervention can have life changing results!

So grateful for all the great work and for the staff at Marin Ortho, both of my kids needed orthodontics badly, they had serious issues with their teeth and one of my children had a lot of anxiety with any type of dental procedure. They are so patient and really got to know my kids and showed real concern and caring. So lucky to have found them and now their teeth are beautiful. I can't say enough good things! Worth every penny!

I cannot say enough amazing things about my experience at Gorton and Schmohl Orthodontics! The initial consultation with Dr Gorton was informative and incredibly thorough. She spent time listening to my needs and presented me with what she thought would be the most effective treatment. She encouraged me to ask questions and answered all of them. My treatment with Invisalign lasted 2 years. The entire experience was fantastic. Dr Sona oversaw the majority of my treatment and I genuinely looked forward to every visit. All of the staff were attentive and sweet. They bring an energy to the office that is upbeat and they took great care of me. On top of all that, I have a new GORGEOUS smile! I would highly recommend Gorton and Schmohl!

We recently had a virtual appointment with Dr. Gorton for my daughters Invisalign treatment. I was so impressed with how well the appointment went! They asked for a series of photos to be submitted (with very simple instructions on how to take them) and at the time of the appointment they had them up on the screen and were able to accurately analyze my daughters progress based on her charts, and show us exactly where she is with her treatment plan. Dr. Gorton was even able to determine that my daughter no longer needs to wear her rubber bands during the day! I was so glad that we were able to have a virtual appointment and confidently feel that we are moving forward with her treatment plan, even during these crazy times.

Had some previous dental work that was due for an update but in order to get a significant improvement in the crowns, the bite needed to be corrected in the front. The doctors have been patient with my approaching treatment at my own pace and I look forward to seeing the final results when my bite is corrected. And also my 12 year old daughter started her Invisalign treatment a few months ago and has been super easy and smooth. Dr. Gorton has an incredible team, everyone is really nice and friendly.

My experience with Dr. Gorton and Dr. Schmohl was nothing short of excellent!! I enjoyed coming in at every appointment. The team is very welcoming. The attention to detail to get my smile to where I wanted it to be was perfect. If I had any questions they were there to answer them. I recently finished my Invisalign treatment and I am extremely satisfied with the outcome. I feel more confident now when I talk to people and smile!
