I had been suffering from Pulsatile Tinnitus for more than two decades when I decided to seek help from an Otolaryngologist in my hometown of Bremen. After a thorough examination, the Otolaryngologist referred me to Dr. Mattox for further evaluation & treatment. From our very first meeting, it was clear that Dr. Mattox had a deep understanding of my condition & was determined to help me find relief.
Two months after our initial consultation, I underwent surgery performed by Dr. Mattox. Right before surgery I could sense his confidence & expertise, which filled me with a sense of calm & reassurance. The surgery went smoothly, & I woke up from anesthesia feeling grateful that I had found such a skilled & compassionate doctor to help me.
Now, almost a month post-surgery, I am thrilled to report that my Pulsatile Tinnitus has completely disappeared. For the first time in over two decades, I can no longer hear my own heartbeat 💗 echoing in my ears. This life-changing outcome would not have been possible without Dr. Mattox's expertise & dedication to his patients' well-being.

Dr. Mattox is a very caring and compassionate doctor. He has performed two surgeries on me. I now have a tumor in my parotid gland that has been discovered and he is doing everything he can to help me get it removed ASAP. I’m happy he hasn’t come out of retirement yet even though he deserves it!

Initial visit was quick but thorough. Dr. Mattox and his staff are very kind and extremely knowledgeable. I felt at ease and we scheduled my 1st stapedectomy. I have only been for my post op, with a follow up hearing test scheduled for end of Oct but can already tell a major difference. Hearing is greatly improved. BTW, the world is LOUD! I highly recommend Dr. Mattox and Emory.

He and his team are horrible. I have had a chronic ear infection for 2 months and every time i go in, i am told to keep taking the same medicine and hopefully it will l get better. he does not explain anything to you and does not have a friendly bed-side mannor. His team are also not friendly and or helpful. I do not recommend them to anyone

Worst Doctor EVER! Rude, indifferent, does not empathize or care how you feel. He needs to stick to the books, he has lost his ability for patient care and needs to re-examine his reason for becoming a Doctor!

I've had 52 surgrey. I've never been in so much pain he told me I'm not in pain anymore . I have an 1 year old at home that I can hardly take care of because my head hurts so bad after suresur I hurt more then I did before . I've tryed telling them but they won't to anything to take .y pain away but tell me to take ibprofin. It still does not help . It's not fun being 22 crying all day due to my head feeling like it's going to explode . Any help would be great. He did a very great job removing the infection. But should I get a lawyer ?
