Dr. Constantine was condesending and misogynistic. His insistence that my heart rate regularly reach8ng 200 without exercise is "normal" because I'm a young woman; it should be FURTHER cause for concern that my heart is acting this way because young women so rarely have heart symptoms. My heart may not be causing the problem I'm having, but the symptoms certainly aren't "normal".

He talked over me entirely throughout my first appt, and immediately talked over me again today. I couldn't answer a single question without him interrupting me to answer his own question about MY health experience.

He wasnt empathetic to the pain I have been experiencing daily for the past year. Before ever having done the tests on my heart, he insisted that it was laughable that I would even see a cardiologist, and only scheduled the tests to reassure my frail, delicate emotional woman self- despite the fact that it was my DOCTOR, not ME, who scheduled this consult due to the heart problems my DOCTOR has documented.

I believe I could hold my unbeating heart in my palm in front of him, and he would say that I must be imagining it because young women just don't experience heart problems.

However, I'm sure his older male patients must be quite reassured that he cares very deeply for their symptoms; for he could not stop reassuring me that if I were an old man, he would let me finish a sentence.

Obviously, I will be seeing someone else for a 2nd opinion.

They Forgot to schedule my tests for a month and when I would call the girl would first say it had been sent to scheduling . I eventually call scheduling the lady said they never received the order. I called back to the office and story changed to waiting on my insurance. Called my insurance and they told me they never received any request for treatment. I then had to get a wonderful lady at the insurance company to 3 way call them to get scheduled. So 4 months from my appointment to get testing then I was scheduled a follow up 3 weeks after my test. I was running 10 minutes late for my appointment , I called and they canceled and said I would have to reschedule. I asked the lady could they not work me in a few minutes late after them dropping the ball for 4 months. She only offered to schedule me the next week. I understand they made a mistake on dropping the ball on scheduling me, mistakes happen. But why couldn’t they make it right and work with me after yanking my chain for 4 months and I’m running 10 Minutes late? Or at least work me in the next day. I’m currently having to see if I get another cardiologist to get access look at my results or just tell them I’m not paying for tests that I was not provided the results for.

I had a heart cath done yesterday at the Heart Center. The care from the nursing staff from admitting to discharge was fantastic. I had never had the procedure before and was quite nervous, but they treated me very well. I had heard many things about Memorial Satilla Health, but experienced none of it.

I recently had three procedures at the Heart Center at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross. The staff was very professional and made me feel very comfortable. I was informed of what was going to be done with each procedure.The facility was very clean and everyone that had a part in taking care of me was very friendly and caring. I would recommend Memorial Satilla to my friends. I would like to thank everyone that took care of me each time for being so kind.

Wednesday, 9/16/2020 I had a stress test at the Heart Center. All personnel who helped administer the test were great. I was very pleased with the professionalism they showed.

Also, it was great to to see how the hospital was handling the prevention of covid-19. When I walked in the hospital my temperature was checked. Everyone was wearing their mask. I felt very safe.

Catchings has by far the worst bedside behavior i have ever seen. When the nurse warns you he is hard to deal with its a terrible sign of his lack of professionalism. The man seems to have mental issues and should not be in a position where people are trapped in need of his care. He blatantly intimidated my 87 year old dad, my sweet school teacher sister and the poor young nurse trying to do her job. My dad sat there starving for 48hrs while catchings floundered on making the decision of when to do a procedure. Then after the nurse bugged him about a patient needing to eat he rushed in the chastise dad over eating 6 bites of chicken pot pie, by far the healthiest thing i could find him on short notice in waycross ga at 230pm. If his diet was such an issue to make that much of a scene appropriate nutrition should have been supplied. Thankfully catchings refused to act as a doctor on my dad and he was transferred to St Vincent's where they care and operate in a professional manner.

Have been seeing Constantine for 2 years, he wanted MRI for possible stroke, took 4 weeks to get because the person who does requests went on vacation . Went to him for pain in my legs and he dismissed it not referring me to anyone. Another dr... ordered tests and I have severe blockages in both legs.! I've asked for a referral to another cardiologist.

We feel very confident that Dr. Jacobs provides my husband and myself with quality cardiac care. He is very thorough, listens intently, explains everything in laymen terms we understand and always ask if we have any questions before we leave his office. He is very personable, but professional and has such a positive attitude.
