I’ve visited Metro Foot and Ankle Center several times for multiple appointments, and each experience has been excellent. The front-end staff is always attentive, knowledgeable, and polite. Dr. Bass has been assessing my feet and developing a treatment plan with top-notch care. His professionalism, knowledge, and great bedside manner make me feel comfortable and confident in my treatment. He’s always friendly and thorough. Metro Foot and Ankle Center is definitely my go-to for any foot pain, and I highly recommend them!

This man’s attitude is out of this world. I would rather get seen by a back alley doctor in the middle of the night than go here. Between his poor attitude and the way he speaks to his patients and the way his nurses shrug their shoulders to every question you ask them, there is nothing redeemable about this place. I wouldn’t waste my time going here. How they were ever licensed to run a business is beyond me. They are tone deaf and uncaring. The only good thing about this place is their receptionists. They don’t know anything and do not care about your concerns regarding your health. Literally go anywhere else. ANYWHERE else! He was aggravated and made inappropriate jokes that were hurtful. Every patient should feel comfortable with their doctors. You won’t get that here for sure. Definitely will not be returning for any future appointments.

Being as honest and objective as I know to be, the score should really be a 2.5 but there is no way to put half stars.

I recently bought a home in the area and one of this areas strong suits to me is the number of black owned businesses in close proximity. Having decided that i would try to reverse the mistrust i have as a black man in the medical community by seeking out doctors that look like me for once, hoping to have a better experience than i have had historically. I visited the optometrist in the same building and decided to give this practice a chance at the eye doctors recommendation thinking i would as good an experience with them as well.
This did not happen though unfortunately. I set up an appoint for myself and my son with a representative over the phone and she was very helpful and extremely nice, unfortunately she set a bar higher than the rest of her colleagues could reach.
The rest of the office staff are at worst rude and at best uninterested. As far as the doctor himself, I did not really care for his personality, but he does seem knowledgeable and willing to communicate about the care he is providing. That difference in personalities would not normally be enough to stop me from coming back, but any benefit from him as a provider is no where near enough to make up for the short comings of his office staff. And since they are his staff, they are his responsibility. Ultimately i will not spend anymore money with this practice nor would i recommend anyone i know to them.

Dr. Bass was referred to me by a family member and I can say that it was a great referral. My first visit was pleasant and informative. The office was nice and professional. Dr. Bass is very detail when providing you with information on your condition. He provided me the options on treating my condition and made me feel a since of trust in his care. I would most definitely visit his office again and well refer him to other family and friends.

I came in for a sprained ankle this week (Monday). Staff was very attentive and compassionate to my needs. The rep in the front went out of her way to help me feel comfortable. I was unable to hold any documents due to me being on crutches and she went back and forth. The nurse was very personable and attentive. Dr. Bass, as well, was great. I can't wait to get my ankle back to normal but I am glad I am in good care.

Although I blindly selected him from a list of various local podiatrists, I'm extremely grateful for him, his professionalism and his sincere attentiveness to my needs.
