I went to the Lady Lake location. Everyone from pre approval, reception, X-ray and the Doctor were excellent. All were very efficient , professional and caring. Unfortunately Dr Messieh found I didn’t need his services as he only does replacement surgeries. However he went above and beyond by giving me information on his personal recommendations on Doctors who would be able to help me. He even wrote orders for an MRI and gave me X-ray copies so I am all prepared when I go to see the next doctor. Class act all through the process. I will be back if and when I need a joint replacement. P.S. to top it off they didn’t even try to collect anything, they said they will file with my insurance and bill me later if needed.

Dr Messieh is the best! i was walking just with a cane 4 days after surgery and at 3 weeks did a little dancing! Minimal pain and quickest recovery ever!

Kind, caring and thorough describes Dr Messieh, Cassie and Nicole. All three are patient to listen and evaluate, and I never felt rushed. Total knee replacement with a side incision meant that I was only overnight in Heart of Florida hospital in Davenport. Follow up care was smooth, efficient and easy to accommodate. They use a home health care that is brilliant, so much that I needed no outpatient therapy. Two weeks after surgery walking with no assistance. Again, kind, patient and thorough-I am grateful to those that recommended him!

After a total knee replacement in May 2018 and recent cortisone injections for a shoulder issue, I can highly recommend Dr. Messieh. He's the best! While you may have to wait a little while for your appointment, when you see Dr. Messieh, you never feel rushed. He is very thorough to the extent I always come away feeling that I'm his only patient.
With respect to my total knee replacement, surgery was minimally invasive. I went into the hospital Monday morning and was home by mid Tuesday afternoon. Walking was easy with little or no discomfort. A week later, I was driving and back doing my regular chores such as shopping, etc.
With respect to my shoulder, Dr. Messiah gave me a injections. Within minutes, I could return to normal activities such as fastening and undoing my seatbelt, without pain!
Dr. Messiah has 2 office locations - one in Clermont which us about 35 miles away and one in The Villages which is about 8 miles away from my home. I've been to both offices. Either is worth the drive. And, any appointment with him is worth waiting.

I can't say enough (all good things!) about the personal care and support Dr. Messieh and his staff provided me. Because I am younger than a normal knee replacement patient, he went to a great extent to make sure I received the best options for my total knee replacement, including calling me on a Sunday afternoon, the day prior to my surgery. He spoke with me for over 20 minutes to go over some thoughts he was having and provided me with different options if I thought it necessary to postpone. On the day of surgery, he again spent time with me in the pre-op room, said a little prayer with me, and gave me great optimism that we had made the right choice. He, unlike other knee replacement surgeons in the area, performs the ENTIRE surgery himself - one patient at a time. The one night spent at the Heart of FL hospital was the best hospital experience I've EVER had! The nursing staff was amazing, caring, and sensitive to my needs. Dr. Messieh made a couple of visits as well and made clear to the hospital staff what he wanted for me. He also stayed involved in my rehab in that he ensured the Physical Therapists did not do certain therapies that would not be right for me. He ensured that my therapy was meant for the long run, not just so the therapist could check points off their list of achieved milestones. As far as the posts regarding the waiting time at his office, yes there were times when I waited 1-1/2 hr or more for my follow up appointments. But, because Dr. Messieh is only in The Villages 1 time per week, he tries to get as many people in on that day as possible to save the patients the time of driving to his Clermont office. I just went there prepared for a long wait but it was always worth the wait. Their filing system may or may not be archaic - I never had a problem to know one way or the other. I DO know that EVERY insurance claim was filed correctly the first time and I NEVER had to follow up on any insurance-related matter. Dr. Messieh's nurse and admin staff ALWAYS ensured all paperwork was ready, perfect, and filed promptly for the necessary appointments, surgery, hospitalization, and rehab. So their system sure seems to work for them! I don't look forward to having to have another knee replacement, but if it ever becomes necessary, I will absolutely return to Dr. Messieh and his amazing staff!

Dr. Messieh and his staff are wonderful. We didn't have to wait weeks to get an appointment to see him. My husband is 72 and has Parkinson's. He needed to make the right decision about his surgery and who would perform that surgery. We made the right decision choosing Dr. Messiah. He recommend the robotic-assisted partial knee replacement and we know now that was the right decision. Dr. Messiah did the surgery on August 17th, 2018. Dr. Messsieh and all of his staff were very helpful though the process of preparing for surgery and after surgery. We could not have found a more kind and caring doctor. My husband has had NO problems with a great recovery and he is walking with out any pain and he doesn't have to use a walker or cane. We are feeling very blessed. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Thank you so much Dr. Messieh. Your the Best!

Dr. Messieh did a robotic partial knee replacement 1 month ago, I was walking without walker or cane after 1 week! The surgery center was outpatient, so no hospital stay. The staff in his office and the surgery center are wonderful. Very satisfied and pleased with all the care I received. Thank you Dr. Messieh.

Dr. Messieh performed emergency surgery on my broken knee cap on Jan 31, 2015. It shattered like if you dropped a cookie onto a table and broke in [5] places! I had to have two separate surgeries. He put permanent screws in my knee to hold everything in place. After 8 weeks of not moving or putting weight on it or bending my leg; my knee was almost 100% healed. The x-rays turned out great; everything was in place just like it was supposed to be.

Dr. Messieh; is a marvelous Surgeon and Doctor; his office staff; is noting less than fantastic and professional. They are very caring and they explain every thing to you. If I ever have to go see an Orthopedic Surgeon again; which I hope I don't; I wouldn't go see anyone......except Dr. Messieh. He is just fantastic.

Thank you Dr. Messieh; after 5 months of being off work; I can now drive myself; walk; and do everything that I did before. I'm almost back to normal. I still have some therapy to do; recommend by the DR. but besides that; I'm back to normal!!!!!
