My experience with Dr. Michael Gruber was great! I had a knee replacement surgery in March 2024. He was very knowledgeable and guided me through a successful surgery with so far great results. I would recommend Dr. Gruber to anyone wanting a skilled and outstanding orthopedic surgeon. Also ask for Kathryn, Physical Therapist, at the Fayetteville, GA location. She is great and cares about her patients.

Dr gruber is a wonderful doctor that cares about his patients and his staff are just as amazing. He had done surgeries on 5 of my friends without any complications so he was the obvious choice for my mother’s knee replacement. It was a hard surgery as is expected but he did an amazing job and in the end it was perfect without any complications. I highly recommend him.

First time I met Dr. Gruber and he was very informative, knowledgeable and answered all my questions I had about TKR. I liked him because was caring but to the point as well. Would highly recommend him. He’s a great physician. He has done both knee replacements for me. Very kind and helpful. Also his PA Jared Shafer is just as good. This is the third year that either my husband or myself have been a patient of Georgia Bone and Joint. We are very pleased with them.

My experience with Dr. Gruber was very good, and he led me down the right path, while looking at what is best for me. He could have done a full knee replacement, which would have fixed my knee issue, but my quality of life at the age of 49 would have been very limited. Instead he talked with me about my options, and what would get me back to a better quality of life without going tot he full extend so soon. Very good.

Dr. Gruber was very rude, unprofessional, and a poor listener. I brought my MRI in and without checking it, he told me that nothing was wrong with my knee. He goes on to say that he does not understand why I am describing all of this pain I am enduring and simultaneously using a cane. He says that I look fine to him. Afterwards, he ordered blood work to be done but never even looked at it. Two weeks later, I saw another knee doctor. From reading the same MRI that Dr. Gruber had, he said that my cartilage was completely damaged. Intervention had to be done immediately. My knee was bone-to-bone. I complained to my referring physician about Dr. Gruber, and they said that they will no longer be referring patients to Dr. Gruber. My experience with Dr gruber was so hurtful I can never forget it.

The staff is great with their caring attitude. Dr. Gruber is a no nonsense type of physician and does amazing surgeries! He did my knee replacement and in the first two weeks it was awful! So I told him that I would just drag my other leg to my grave but no surgery! But really after the third week it just got better and better. It is all good now and it has been two years!

I had a minor accident that caused swelling in a leg. I waited several days before seeking medical advice and due to the swelling I contacted Georgia Bone & Joint. I did not have any experience with them at the time, so I asked for the first available appointment and to see any doctor available. That appointment turned out to be with Dr. Michael Gruber.

I was very pleased from the time I met his first assistant who took me to a waiting room and began the process. She was very thorough asking questions and taking notes about my injury. Before meeting Dr. Gruber I was sent for x-rays on the leg and shortly after returning to the waiting room, Dr. Gruber and two additional assistants came in.

Again, I was very pleased. I found Dr. Gruber to be very professional but with a good bedside manner. He too asked questions and inspected both legs. He explained that the x-rays indicated that I had not suffered any kind of internal injuries and that although I had severe swelling, it should subside over time and I should not have any lasting after effects. However, due to the swelling he was concerned about the possibility of blood clots and scheduled an immediate ultra sound for me.

The ultra sound did not find any blood clots, however, it did find an aneurysm. Dr. Gruber was contacted and quickly arranged for me to see a local vascular vein specialist the same day.

Dr. Gruber's professionalism and due diligence for me helped to avoid a negative and potentially very dangerous health situation for me.

I am grateful for what Dr. Michael Gruber did for me and I highly recommend Dr. Gruber and Georgia Bone & Joint.

Dr. Gruber was extremely rude, condescending and cocky. I even told him at one point "please stop being sarcastic with me". He didn't listen to my complaints or previous diagnosis' from Dr. Kessler himself and took images of my hip when I went in for leg pain. Just an all around terrible doctor.
