In April 2024, I had an accident in my right arm and spent two days in pain and unable to sleep. I went to Dr. Cushing and his assistants. Everyone's empathy, kindness and professionalism helped me to leave the clinic with less pain and a lot of sleep
(ha ha). God took me to them to receive the healing I urgently needed, I did not know Georgia Bone and Joint. Thank you very much, a big hug to all of you.

I saw Dr Cushing regarding an ongoing problem with my hands/wrists on June 15th. Dr was gentle, respectful an a great listener. He suggested I try PT for my right hand which made an amazing difference! Brittany Scarborough in PT was wonderful, giving me tools to improve my strength. I am totally grateful for all the outstanding care I received. 10 stars would be more accurate! Joan

Dr. Cushing did my total shoulder replacement surgery end of May at Piedmont Newnan hospital. There were a few glitches and the surgery had to be postponed but he got to the bottom of it and his staff was wonderful. I was nervous going into this procedure and Dr. Cushing assured me he would take good care of me and they did. I highly recommend him.

I saw Dr. Cushing for a knee related sports injury and he and the staff were excellent. Dr. Cushing has a great bedside manner, he’s thorough, he educated me on the condition of my knee and provided options for treatment.

I had Meniscus surgery with him and it was perfect. Within 4 weeks I was playing competitive league softball and my knee got stronger as I built up the muscles again. A year and a half later and my knee is as good as before the injury.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dr. Cushing to anyone.

Dr. Cushing is second to none! I had a right shoulder reverse replacement 6 weeks ago and all is going as I was told by Dr. Cushing. I will be using him and Georgia Bone & Joint for any issues I have in the future reguarding joint problems.

Start to finish, a great experience. DR Cushing was wonderful. Knowledgeable, empathetic, professional, and he’s conservative. Cortisone, maybe PT, we’ll see about any kind of surgery.
Great staff. Can’t hope for a better orthopedic experience.

I had been experiencing shoulder pain for several months, which had impacted by ability to play quality golf. After a bad round where my shoulder hurt after every shot, I made an appointment to see Dr. Cushing. He had performed surgery on my mother 15 years ago when she fell and broke her shoulder. She had always talked about what a great doctor he was.
Although my appointment was relatively short (maybe 10 minutes with Dr. Cushing), he listened intently to what I said, asked great questions to get more information, and diagnosed the problem.
The results...the 2 days after my appointment and treatment I played 54 holes of golf...all PAIN FREE.
I could not have asked for a better experience than what I had with Dr. Cushing and the entire staff at Georgia Bone & Joint.
